A beautiful video. Love Adam so much. I learned a lot from this character. And found my love for Shakespeare, because of Adam and this great actor Pernell Roberts. A great man. Standing up for his point of view. Both Adam Cartwright and Pernell Roberts. This role character wouldn't be so successful without PR.

I am not a usual watcher of fan videos, just a long time Bonanza fan, but your editing skills are great! This is so seamless, it tells the continuation of the story perfectly. Especially since all true fans wonder how Adam recovered after that episode. Great job! Thanks for doing it.

Just found this video. Adam has always been my favorite. The Crucible was suh a gripping episode. Painful to watch yet had a lesson for the viewer. Never saw the follow up but your video was so wonderfully done . Brought tears to my eyes yet a reminder of gratitude...while the Cartwrights were fictional,the bonds of love,support & strength in family shone through. RIP Be, Adam, Hoss, & Joe.
I agree, I have severe trouble watching that episode any more because of the pain and abuse Adam is put through. Every person can relate to him and the aftermath of what he endured. The Cartwrights might be fictional but they are more real to me than most people that I have met. Adam's struggles and dogged determination to overcome trauma has kept me alive and hopeful for the past several years. I only wish I could thank the actors, especially Pernell, but for now, hopefully these videos go some way to doing just that. Thank you for your wonderful comment, Kaye! God bless you! :)

I, along with the others who have posted, thought that Adam would have trouble recovering from "The Crucible" even though he didn't let Marvin drive him to murder. Thank you for a thoughtful rendition of what might have been.
This video is very close to my heart and is probably my very favorite one if I had to choose. It took two weeks of solid work and a few contemplative tears but I do love this one so and I am thrilled that you found joy in it as well. I love this. They should have explored the aftermath of the Crucible but this def could have been one way.
I know.. if the show was on in this era I'm sure they would have done that but in the sixties they just sort of did a story and moved on...
The last scene in the video..was that PR's last episode from Bonanza?..Just the way he stared at the camera as if to say, "Goodbye."

Thank you, Janet! It is indeed emotional but, surprisingly, was the easiest video I have ever made. The pain that has driven me ever onward also has been my greatest inspiration. I see that same pain in the eyes of Our Dear One who has suffered much as well and I want to capture that image for all to see. I want people to see that while Adam may be cool, calculating and aloof most of the time, those qualities are merely coping mechanisms to shield his heart from further injury. He is a sweet, kind, generous and tender soul and I love him for all of those qualities, not just because he is the hottest thing on two legs! :) In all seriousness, I am so glad that you found these things in my video for that was my only purpose, to help everyone understand him a little bit better.

You are so very welcome, I'm just glad you loved it! Yes, the Spirit soundtrack is really the only songs that could have been used. This whole idea started because I simply wanted to use "Sound The Bugle" for a video. When I heard that song, my body exploded in goosebumps! I had no idea though that it would turn into a fifteen minute tribute to "The Crucible". Funny how things work out but thank you so much again!!

As far as I know, my friend, Pernell was cremated upon his death and I am not sure if there was ever a headstone erected for him. I too would have loved to visit his grave as well. However, his birthtown of Waycross, Georgia has dedicated a memorial park to him and there are other local attractions to see too, such as the house where he grew up in. I do not know if this helped you but I hope it did. All my friendship...
