Man truck seems tuff as rusty nails. I’d put a piece of foam in where the body clips to chasis. Not sure how it works but that’s what I did on my granite grom when my body kept popping off and it really kept it inline for me. I have been waiting on this truck to come out for like 3months since I seen the leaked pics of it. Can’t wait to get mine. By the way that skatepark is set up pretty nice for rc-ing. It looks fine, depending on the price. Content creators all say the price will be $250-$280 but a lot of yahoos in the comments section talk about finding it for $155, which would be an excellent deal, as their H14BM is $175. That price scheme doesn't make sense to me, and suspiciously the commenters say they *can't* post the link. I don't care about it enough to search prices myself, but I imagine the $155 is a scam, a different truck completely, classic AliExpress style. The truck isn't even released, why they gonna cut the price by 40% and have it cost less than their old model ? Makes no sense. I'm not in the market for a truck, so I'm not out looking at prices, but the price they ask for this is key to whether it's a good deal or not. It's kinda slow on 3s, and seems to be a b* to wrench on.
No joke, I actually just recieved my v1.1 10208 from aliexpress for $146usd shipped yesterday! This truck is crazy and the release of it has been absolutely nuts! I paid $290 for the truck you see in the video
Nice location 🤙The body popping off would drive me nuts, I would try and make a screw or twist lock mechanism. Let us know how your rubber band body lock holds up on your next vid.
They never work. My Xmaxx has a self removing body and I despise chasing it around to put the body back on after every crash or hard landing. They're great for a crawler or trail truck but stupid on bashers. People shouldn't be too lazy for Few body clips, you're just not that important. I spend tons less time putting in 4 body clips that keep the body on until I take it off than I do putting the Xmaxx body back on dozens of times.
For the body mount clip all you could have done was drilled two small pinholes and then attached a spring It looks like it would have been very easy to do
That's kind of like what I did, but it can't have a pull spring anywhere, as there's a ton of obstructions under the body around the shock tower. A spring would likely interfere with getting the body on. The only way to add a pull spring would be on the exterior, which I was trying to avoid.

Disregard my comment on tye size comparison video. I didnt realize that was a older video and you had others with the speed test and what not. That thing seems like a little beast and 47mph is pretty damn good. How does the truck compare to the Omni? I know its bigger but other than that what are some of the major differences?
The omni terminator is all around a "better" truck, it has a lot more suspension travel, is much silkier in feel, and has adjustable motor mount, plus a ton of rlaarlo factory upgrades available. However, the omni terminator is microscopic in comparison, has a nearly unusable stock esc due to excessive braking that can't be programmed out, and they suffer from terrible diff cup wear that currently has no true solution. The mjx is a "cruder", larger, and I'd trust much more durable bash machine where the omni terminator is a more refined precision piece. Personally, I feel their apples to oranges, my Terminator is too nice to sling off a half pipe into the woods, and I keep it on the shelf because I don't want to tear up more diff cups. The mjx LOVES being heavy and tough and thrown around.
@VoltUpRC I have a cf terminator with all the (imo) necessary and usefull upgrades so I see what you are saying. I love the terminator but I would cry if I took it to a skate park and beat the shit out of it like I do my maxx. After watching the mjx seems like small maxx more than a large omni lol either way I want one!
Lots of body rubbing. Lots of vibration. The suspension is way too soft and fast rebounding for jumping. Needs thicker WT shock oil and stiffer springs. It's just slapping the chassis the whole time even on the small jumps. That is bad for other electronics and the diff cases. I'll stick with my Team Associated Rival MT10 for now. I always say that and end up buying it anyway because I love modding RCs, lol.
That was a pretty mild bash to break a servo. They must be trying to copy Traxxas with the self removing body and crap servo. I definitely hate clipless body's. My Xmaxx is the same way. It's definitely quicker and easier to put 4 body pins in once. I want to see this next to a Omni Terminator and a real 10th scale truck. I'll still get one eventually but I'm not very excited yet.
th-cam.com/video/iUV73ptf6uE/w-d-xo.html Here it is next to a real 1/10 scale and the omni Terminator. Since the rlaarlo can't keep diff cups to hold their shape, mine is unfortunately on the shelf. You're definitely not right. It's $30 less. If that's a big deal then you're in the wrong hobby. I bet my next 10 paychecks I can get MT 10 parts in 5 years. You willing to bet that on this truck? It's gonna take more than 1 run video before anyone can say this is better than anything. With this self removing body it's not looking good so far.
@@boduke9428 If it's as well received as the smaller ones, then there will still be spare parts available in a few years, in my opinion 😉 Even if it's not better, it currently costs about €70 less as a pre-order (in Germany), and the motor, ESC, like one a few other parts seem to be more valuable.
