It’s the woodland behind your left shoulder in this video, A watercolor greeting card posted 11/29/2023.
I am a photo realistic animal portraiture artist. I work in colored pencil and I work on fabriano artistico extra white hot press 300 GSM paper. In recent months my interest has grown including watercolor in my backgrounds in foregrounds and maybe even venturing into some watercolor landscapes as many years ago I used to do landscapes and seascapes in oil. I have gone through channel after channel and although I have found a few that I quite love their personalities and they brighten my day I have not until now found one who does skies and insanely beautiful landscape with a sense of humor and something joyful in their painting. I have subscribed and will be playing catch up on your prior videos so please watch for a few comments from me. Just as a piece of info I'm from Phoenix Arizona USA and so snow is almost completely foreign to me, but it is something that I think is so beautiful. I can go 3 hours up north and see it but with my physical disabilities that's very very difficult plus for my service animals that would be a long ride lol.
Would you please do a few more snowscapes so that I can watch and smile during your process and possibly even try to emulate a few images and techniques if you would not mind.

@@mattyartist truthfully thank you. Here in Arizona we have stunningly beautiful sunsets that are extremely colorful and so what you did with this painting was reminiscent of what we have here almost all the time. I have not seen any other watercolor artist do a skyline that even remotely touches the beauty of the ones in Arizona until what you created here. I have hoped that I would find somebody with a good sense of humor and someone that does something other than flowers because I'm not interested in painting flowers lol. You are just exactly it and your sense of humor is a bit dry like my husband's and so it's wonderful to watch your video. When I can afford it I will definitely be looking to join your patreon.
Greatly appreciate your video what sounded like a little bland when you started but you create an amazing Christmas scene captured with depth detail and great range of colours even though it was a limited pallet, I have got a question on the distant trees the branches go up on the foreground trees they go down is it two different types 😅?. Thanks greatly for your inspiration
It looks like it to me. I hope you don't mind I said something. I like right by the Smith River in CA. It isso beautiful and it is Spring feed river. It is protected and they can never put dams on it. But I want to mention all the different trees. It must have at least 20 different kind. I can see from the dining room window. One day I am going to paint it. I did one of the redwoods and a female elk
