Be careful, or you might reincarnate when Pluto is in Pisces. That may not be a bad thing. I am 72, and remember being about 6 years old and hearing a rumor going around the neighborhood that in about 20 years, everyone will be psychic. That didn't happen, but we still seem to be headed in that direction. Mabey Pluto in Pisces will help heal humanity's deep wounds made during the age of Pisces, that didn't have to happen. Misinterpretation of energies that could have been used for good. ❤ It's always human mistake, unable to love themselves and others, never the planets faults. I teach art & painting as volunteer teacher in middle and high schools & work with adults as well (most refugees ) with little or no means to get by. In this little communitycenter we cook to gether for lunch and everyone who’s there eats together. That’s so loving and rewarding I know where my focus will be After many years of suffering I chose to rise above it and share with what I do have with others And that’s the most fulfilling I’ve ever felt ❤

I have this feeling...that we are like a tree. The higher the heights we reach, the lower the depths. I can sense that we have tried hard to unveil "truths" and to "liberate" our lives, and that the freer we think we are, the more we enslave ourselves. Yes, it's paradoxical. The "better" we get, the "worse" also. The more virtuous, the more malevolent. One thing AND the other. Even Zen masters, knowing this, are enmeshed in this game.
Mabey out roots are deep from Pluto in Capricorn, and we can now soar the heights of Aquarius, because we've built our base. It's all connected. We have to steer the freedom of our intent and will get back what we put out! I hope humanity uses it's heart and mind sense to make the most of this for good! 😊

I think this is one of the gifts of the way you approach astrology. Astrology can be potent and can be used for egotistical pursue (even unconsciously) like sharing a personal view and try to indocrinate people on what the astrologer believes. The back end of Pluto in Capricorn has been rough, especially since I have an 8th house cap stellium (sun, mercury, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune). It now feels like we've crossed over into world I don't recognize anymore, and for the first time in my life I have no idea what's about to happen.

The day that you made this video, I was in Alabama taking care of my elderly father. My family of origin is filled with trauma of many kinds. I happened to find my certificate of live birth which had my actual birth time. I had my birth time wrong my entire life. Once I pulled the correct chart for myself, it changed several key placements. I was no longer Gemini rising, by Cancer rising. Moon in Cancer stayed in my first house. My Sag sun crammed into the 6th house with my Mercury/Venus/Neptune stellium in Sag (with bonus Lilith!). My Chiron in Aries migrated into the 10th instead of the 11th. Mars in Scorpio is now in my 5th (which makes WAY more sense than it being in the 6th). But PLUTO? Pluto shifting my the 5th house where it never made sense to my 4th house rocked me to my core. I knew that I had trauma, but grappling with this change at this particular time in my life seems really significant.
Apocalyptic impatience is something I know I'll struggle with. Towards the end of Pluto in Capricorn, transiting my 8th house, I was obsessed with understanding what lies behind reality and read many different cultures perception, or beliefs, about the mystery of the universe and how it operates. With Pluto entering Aquarius, ninth house with my stellium of sun, venus, mercury, saturn and MC - I find myself probing more into my own beliefs and the construct of reality. And I agree, you can't learn about it through piercing focus like a college course, it requires a soft approach where one is open to receive how it works (if there is such a thing). So ... an affirmation I'll be telling myself is, "Oh, I still have 'x' more years with Pluto in Aquarius - the journey isn't over yet."

Many gen Z feel that way too. It’s not your age, but your perspective that’s causing that. Trust me I feel it too. Like the other commenters said - get away from the shitshow, focus on what is meaningful to you and brings you fulfilment. Slowly, your sense of things being hopeless will change.
Some things that have helped me are learning about the Cali, Hugo cycle and what it means and how it expresses, as well as how long it's going to last that, we won't see the end of it in our lifetime, so while we can do certain things to limit suffering, ultimately, we just have to allow for the destruction cycle to continue and also reading up about the mass extinctions that the earth has had throughout time, and how it always rebuilds new things are always being reborn and that it will continue on, perhaps not with humans, but maybe that's for the best in the long run ☯️✨🌌
The analogy of the fatalistic approach to viewing the other party doesn’t offer me much solace when considering the political climate has never been like this in my lifetime.

I lean towards science and art and there other astrologers who keep my attention with more than blind faith but some astrologers who reject science and other disciplines like the arts lose credibility with me sometimes. I prefer the ones who can keep my attention with more than an appeal to blind faith especially when they are strongly opposed to science. I question science too all the time. Questioning is the central tenet of science so I don’t follow any of it on blind faith. Even the Buddha said not to follow him but rather try out and experience for ourselves what he teaches. 48:24
Aquarius is so often treated as some idyllic energy (largely because of new age type ideas). Not to deny that entirely. Egypt gives us a good image. The Goddess of the flooding of the Nile was associated with it. But the flood was milk to nurture us. The flooding provided just what the parched land of Egypt needed to sustain crop growth the next year. A weak flood was disastrous. But at root Aquarius was Saturn in its 30 story high view. It is the furthest visible planets, so sees all of creation. The feeding with milk draws up ideas of the divine child archetype. If that's our true self then the ideal is that if one is authentic and not clinging to a false egoic identity (if one sees clearly) this was a wonderful time of expansion. (Aquarius as God of sky-even today with the idea of Uranus as ruler) is a perspective of endless possibilities. Yet we also see that 30 story high view can lead to a detached mentality. Everything seems to not meet our standard. Our large view makes us lose sight of and devalue what is right in front of us. I agree about "new-age" apocalytic ideas. There has not been a generation for at least 2500 years in the Judeo-Christian era that has not thought they lived in "end times".

It's a really great one depicting Pluto in Aquarius on so many levels! As I watched it Sun also sextiled Pluto and trined Pisces which fits with spiritual leadership and Saturn in Pisces as it's an elder spiritual leader who is calling for truly ethical living, completes the picture. :) It's all part of the story....
In the news this week there was a story about Google's new AI chatbot, Gemini, saying really horrible insulting things to a teenager who was using it, calling him a "stupid human" and telling him to kill himself. Pluto has been grinding through my 9th house for a very long time! I feel like I have been literally put through a grinder for ages. Beloved relatives have died; my beloved (mentor) literary agent died; have lost three dogs in the last fifteen years; end of a long-term relationship; finished writing a book through all of this, which is going through revisions right now. Given that I have Sun, Venus, Mercury in 6th house, I'm looking forward to Pluto's shift into Aquarius (😂)-- at least Pluto will be in a trine relationship with my 6th house, and with my Venus and my Mars at the same time, and at the same degree! My natal Mars and Pluto are in an exact square. Of course PL will be opposing my POF-- but who knows what that means? Life's full surprises, but let's hope not always nasty ones!
That was one hell of a talk, Adam. I’ve recently found material on the internet which has helped me articulate my thoughts about the topics you bring up in this talk. On the world stage you have the removal of globalism at large and the disintegration of the consumer economy: both things we’ve been reliant on for only 50 years or so. On the national stage you have the end result of the efforts made by far right think-tanks; namely The Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society, which have been attempting to reshape the democratic function of our republic since the Nixon Administration. You also have the two major political parties of our nation polarizing around those efforts. Then there’s the cult of personality: MAGA, which has repurposed Reagan’s slogan, ‘let’s make America great again’, in order to promote its own highly bigoted and totalitarian ideologies. This last example is very frightening when you compare that behavior against the history of the Second World War. I would hope that we’re looking at the formation of a new political party in the U.S., and eventually the invention of a completely new economic system for the world at large, but even those may take another 50 years (at the very least) to bring forth. In the mean time you have the entire continent of Asia imploding from its efforts to normalize Autocratic Regimes as a viable form of governance. Most of (if not) all of their military activities are doomed to fail them. Finally, there’s the implementation of AI as an aid (and hopeful boon) to civilization as a whole, and the phenomenon of Climate Change as an existential threat to the very planet itself. These last two topics move far beyond the scope of any simple conversation we could have here. So, what does the average person have at their disposal to face such challenges as they present themselves today? Clearly the mind alone will not suffice. I think that’s where James Hillman comes to our aid. He’s discussing the disolvant effect of civilization on the human soul and he also discusses the what the care of that soul would look like without any pretense at all. I had momentous insights listening to this both as an astrologer as well as personally. But I am always struck with the enormity of what you can so succinctly articulate. Like holding both the awareness of the end of times and heavenly presence. Wow. I loved the quotes and readings and felt sooo connected to this talk. As Pluto enters my 5th, I’m working with the emergence of some unconscious material that is begging me to investigate my authentic, creative self more.

I have this feeling...that we are like a tree. The higher the heights we reach, the lower the depths. I can sense that we have tried hard to unveil "truths" and to "liberate" our lives, and that the freer we think we are, the more we enslave ourselves. Yes, it's paradoxical. The "better" we get, the "worse" also. The more virtuous, the more malevolent. One thing AND the other. Even Zen masters, knowing this, are enmeshed in this game.

Astrology can be potent and can be used for egotistical pursue (even unconsciously) like sharing a personal view and try to indocrinate people on what the astrologer believes. I project a ton of my personal bias on astrological symbols too.
You inspire me to clear away any conditioning of the small mind and to connect to the big mind.

The back end of Pluto in Capricorn has been rough, especially since I have an 8th house cap stellium (sun, mercury, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune). It now feels like we've crossed over into world I don't recognize anymore, and for the first time in my life I have no idea what's about to happen.

Aquarius here. This shift should definitely be interesting
The day that you made this video, I was in Alabama taking care of my elderly father. My family of origin is filled with trauma of many kinds. I happened to find my certificate of live birth which had my actual birth time. I had my birth time wrong my entire life. Once I pulled the correct chart for myself, it changed several key placements. I was no longer Gemini rising, by Cancer rising. Moon in Cancer stayed in my first house. My Sag sun crammed into the 6th house with my Mercury/Venus/Neptune stellium in Sag (with bonus Lilith!). My Chiron in Aries migrated into the 10th instead of the 11th. Mars in Scorpio is now in my 5th (which makes WAY more sense than it being in the 6th). But PLUTO? Pluto shifting my the 5th house where it never made sense to my 4th house rocked me to my core. I knew that I had trauma, but grappling with this change at this particular time in my life seems really significant.
Apocalyptic impatience is something I know I'll struggle with. Towards the end of Pluto in Capricorn, transiting my 8th house, I was obsessed with understanding what lies behind reality and read many different cultures perception, or beliefs, about the mystery of the universe and how it operates. With Pluto entering Aquarius, ninth house with my stellium of sun, venus, mercury, saturn and MC - I find myself probing more into my own beliefs and the construct of reality. And I agree, you can't learn about it through piercing focus like a college course, it requires a soft approach where one is open to receive how it works (if there is such a thing). So ... an affirmation I'll be telling myself is, "Oh, I still have 'x' more years with Pluto in Aquarius - the journey isn't over yet."

Many gen Z feel that way too. It’s not your age, but your perspective that’s causing that. Trust me I feel it too. Like the other commenters said - get away from the shitshow, focus on what is meaningful to you and brings you fulfilment. Slowly, your sense of things being hopeless will change.
Some things that have helped me are learning about the Cali, Hugo cycle and what it means and how it expresses, as well as how long it's going to last that, we won't see the end of it in our lifetime, so while we can do certain things to limit suffering, ultimately, we just have to allow for the destruction cycle to continue and also reading up about the mass extinctions that the earth has had throughout time, and how it always rebuilds new things are always being reborn and that it will continue on, perhaps not with humans, but maybe that's for the best in the long run ☯️✨🌌

I lean towards science and art and there other astrologers who keep my attention with more than blind faith but some astrologers who reject science and other disciplines like the arts lose credibility with me sometimes.
I prefer the ones who can keep my attention with more than an appeal to blind faith especially when they are strongly opposed to science.
I question science too all the time.
Questioning is the central tenet of science so I don’t follow any of it on blind faith.

Aquarius is so often treated as some idyllic energy (largely because of new age type ideas). Not to deny that entirely. Egypt gives us a good image. The Goddess of the flooding of the Nile was associated with it. But the flood was milk to nurture us. The flooding provided just what the parched land of Egypt needed to sustain crop growth the next year. A weak flood was disastrous. But at root Aquarius was Saturn in its 30 story high view. It is the furthest visible planets, so sees all of creation. The feeding with milk draws up ideas of the divine child archetype. If that's our true self then the ideal is that if one is authentic and not clinging to a false egoic identity (if one sees clearly) this was a wonderful time of expansion. (Aquarius as God of sky-even today with the idea of Uranus as ruler) is a perspective of endless possibilities. Yet we also see that 30 story high view can lead to a detached mentality. Everything seems to not meet our standard. Our large view makes us lose sight of and devalue what is right in front of us. I agree about "new-age" apocalytic ideas. There has not been a generation for at least 2500 years in the Judeo-Christian era that has not thought they lived in "end times".

In the news this week there was a story about Google's new AI chatbot, Gemini, saying really horrible insulting things to a teenager who was using it, calling him a "stupid human" and telling him to kill himself. Pluto has been grinding through my 9th house for a very long time! I feel like I have been literally put through a grinder for ages. Beloved relatives have died; my beloved (mentor) literary agent died; have lost three dogs in the last fifteen years; end of a long-term relationship; finished writing a book through all of this, which is going through revisions right now. Given that I have Sun, Venus, Mercury in 6th house, I'm looking forward to Pluto's shift into Aquarius (😂)-- at least Pluto will be in a trine relationship with my 6th house, and with my Venus and my Mars at the same time, and at the same degree! My natal Mars and Pluto are in an exact square. Of course PL will be opposing my POF-- but who knows what that means? Life's full surprises, but let's hope not always nasty ones!
That was one hell of a talk, Adam. I’ve recently found material on the internet which has helped me articulate my thoughts about the topics you bring up in this talk. On the world stage you have the removal of globalism at large and the disintegration of the consumer economy: both things we’ve been reliant on for only 50 years or so. On the national stage you have the end result of the efforts made by far right think-tanks; namely The Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society, which have been attempting to reshape the democratic function of our republic since the Nixon Administration. You also have the two major political parties of our nation polarizing around those efforts. Then there’s the cult of personality: MAGA, which has repurposed Reagan’s slogan, ‘let’s make America great again’, in order to promote its own highly bigoted and totalitarian ideologies. This last example is very frightening when you compare that behavior against the history of the Second World War.
I would hope that we’re looking at the formation of a new political party in the U.S., and eventually the invention of a completely new economic system for the world at large, but even those may take another 50 years (at the very least) to bring forth.
In the mean time you have the entire continent of Asia imploding from its efforts to normalize Autocratic Regimes as a viable form of governance. Most of (if not) all of their military activities are doomed to fail them.
Finally, there’s the implementation of AI as an aid (and hopeful boon) to civilization as a whole, and the phenomenon of Climate Change as an existential threat to the very planet itself.
These last two topics move far beyond the scope of any simple conversation we could have here. So, what does the average person have at their disposal to face such challenges as they present themselves today? Clearly the mind alone will not suffice. I think that’s where James Hillman comes to our aid. He’s discussing the disolvant effect of civilization on the human soul and he also discusses the what the care of that soul would look like without any pretense at all. And, I’m glad for that. 😎
