It's historical song about Kazakhstan. National elements. The sounds were wolves and animals. People starving. Worriors... Dimash cried because his dream come true to present national music and songs to the world. He organized a show for millions of people in China.
Kazakhstan is called "the country of the great steppe" so the sounds at first resemble the sound of wolves in the wild. Dimash is a proud Kazakh, his family raised him with the values of his country and that is why one of his main objectives is to make Kazakh culture known throughout the world. is the world going to further know that Kazakhstan has never been a FREE country truly cuz in old times they were under the rule of GENGHIS KHAN then at the end of his rule, the Russia of the czars took it over ..and after those many years of rule...the USSR rose and of course the rule continued.. and when the USSR flounder thanks to help from the USA and Poland...in 1992...a Russian Kazakh dictator took it over and NEVER gave elections till...never! at the age of late 70s he stepped down last year but...the power was passed to ..another insider accolade of the dictator...and STILL no freedom in that country and so when you say culture...you mean...the natural attractions but not...the country ruled forever...by one or another...there is NO freedom of press there...at ALL or expression and even there is religion persecution...! there have been human rights abuses denounced by Amnesty international etc..

Their life has not been easy, and he's so proud of his culture & wants you to share a part of it. When I first saw this, I felt like I was being welcomed into a nomadic community, the lights within the Yurts were inviting, the stream of water cool & inviting, and Dimash the Night Singer, spreading music across the entire community. In Chinese, the stringed instrument is called a "horse-head fiddle" -- I think it originally comes from Mongolia, but has spread throughout northern China and Central Asia. A lot of Mongolian music uses it to depict rhythms based on the galloping of horses, so I was surprised by what the musician did with it in this song. I've never heard anything like that before.
