So what was the best and worst advice?

That was a terrible thing to say in front of a camera when he was still married. His wife Linda was having electroshock therapy at the time, having the worst of her life. I read 6 of his books and Linda's October Child. I admire him as a writer but he definitely has a selfish and brutal side. On the other hand Linda, despite all the things he said and wrote about her, was so gentle in her book.

And I like that the video ends with him anxiously twirling his wedding ring.... After this video was shot, his second marriage ended in a bitter divorce. He now shacks up with a literary agent in London. Guess he took his dad's words to heart after all.

Guess he didn't find solace in his "ordinary life" after all. What does a guy do when he desires fame for his entire life and finally gets it?

@@DarkAngelEU He didn't desire fame though. He just likes writing and other people like what he writes enough to pay him for it.

@@georgepantzikis7988 Except he did and wrote extensively about this.

@@DarkAngelEU He wrote about wanting to become famous after he wrote his first book, but after he got a taste of fame he wasn't able to write for five years. After that he gave up on the idea of fame. By the time he divorced his second wife he had finished the Min Kamp series I think, and if not, at any rate, it was way after that initial book.

@@georgepantzikis7988 Didn't he also write about fame in the Min Kamp books? Even in some of his talks he admits he still wanted to live that life of being a famous writer, but instead he was bringing his kids to school and making their lunches, but that he thinks that he has come to terms with that.

"This Norwegian dude is a hard core narcissist and he is matching the jacket with the color of his hair. Or maybe I wrong? Anyhow, you've got to look good when you're TV or rather TH-cam" says Bangkok-Johnnie www.pattayatoday.net
