Many phone apps... They are not so easy to build, although many people under estimate this. I'm a software engineer with 4 apps in the app store. It's essentially intellectual infrastructure..
Is SpaceX good??? since, -all of the technology is patent protected -huge cost of starting up -works with specialized equipment and teams -customers (Nasa, telecom companies) contracts are based on no. of satellite they will build and launch i.e they are long term contracts I also realized that high barriers to entry may sometimes leads to monopoly in the particular industry example: Pfizer's Viagra
Absolutely! From an interview featuring Jeff Bezos' high school girlfriend (Ursula Werner): "'Whatever image he had of his own future, it always involved becoming wealthy,' Ursula Werner says. 'There was no way to get what he wanted without it.' What exactly did he want? 'The reason he's earning so much money,' Werner told journalists who contacted her in the 1990s, seeking to understand the Internet magnate, 'is to get to outer space.'" Imagine setting out to build one of the most successful businesses on the planet just so you could get to space :) An industry previously limited to governments has been expanded only slightly to include the ultra wealthy and motivated. Definitely a difficult space to get started in!
Good one. I was wondering when you would be putting some more content online.
I took a break last week to experience snow and gravity :)
@@ASimpleModel usually gravity wins 😉 hope it was fun!

I have a moat of poorly prepared sausages around my home. Is that a barrier to entry?
Depends entirely on how high you have stacked them. Industry standard is approximately 3 meters.
