Whatever the process the result needs to prove its quality...and then, if the result is acceptable, you should assess the global benefit of the process (end product quantity / quality versus ingredient cost, equipment cost and work cost) both in money and in global environnement.

Car mechanics also use it in their workshops to soak up engine oil that get spilled on the floor. It's basically clay granules. It's the cheap stuff. It's very heavy. Just ask for Fuller's Earth. >

It's most likely glacial acetic acid or sulphuric acid. Sulphuric acid works faster, you need it in very high concentration

I've tried using sulfuric acid, but the results can't be expected, because the used oil turns black (burnt)
