I researched a lot before deciding to buy this bass, and I chose it trusting all the reviews I got on the internet and youtube. I am not a professional bass player, but I am very curious and I go to the smallest details, and this bass really met my expectations.
- Comfortable and very well finished arm, well-adjusted frets and nothing sharp, you can slide your hand all over the arm with ease.
- Tuners keep the strings in tune, even after spending the day hanging on the wall mount.
- Tones and pickups working well, it is possible to make a good variation of tones because the pickup volumes work very well.
- The strings seem a little stiff to me, in the future I will exchange for a better quality and softer.
- On the first day I did a quick setup adjusting the tensioner, because the strings were really low and creeping a lot, and I also lowered the height of the carts a little. It was very simple, the necessary L keys accompany the bass.
- The bass is really heavy, the weight is felt on the shoulders, and even on the leg when playing sitting. I recommend buying a quality handle with maximum width and internal softener.
- The cable that comes with the bass looks like a toy, so buy an additional cable.
- I think the packaging for transportation could be better. The bottom box should have been well packed with bubble wrap, and protected inside the shipping box. If there was an impact or a drop in the main box during transport, I believe I could have transferred the impact to the bottom. Although the box has some marks and even punctures, fortunately the content has not been damaged.
I am very satisfied, I have not used the bass at full volume for long hours with the band, which I will do at the end of the week, but when using these first days at home they already left me with a great impression. - เพลง

As someone who's brought this guitar the only downside I find with it is the body is extremely heavy in comparison to other basses. Setup out of the box was okay too, the pickups are great for what you pay for this guitar. The overall build is good. If I could have changed one thing about this guitar it would have been the tuning hardware it does feel a little on the cheaper side compared to the rest of the guitar. But that's the only hiccup. Great bass guitar!
An ash body with maple neck is always going to make this bass a beast. But think of the sustain and tone, plus the Wilkinson bridges with brass saddles.

The courier was quite rough with the transport what do they do throw your bass around. Thankfully it wasn’t damaged. I have one myself and they’re a super sweet bass guitar no doubt. Nice unboxing 🤙
Actually, @HarleyBenton is the best brand in terms of cost x benefit. In the range 100€ - 300€ is the best choice.

Bought one of these only to sell it on. Lovely bass, wonderful tone but....
One hour long gig and gave me back ache, ridiculously heavy.
I love the looks and I love that it's heavy. But I want it with a white pick guard, just like the all natural Jazz Bass in the Ibanez catalogue in 1975... ☺

Yes dude, it is heavy, but most of JB are heavy. After 1 week, I got used to the weight.
It’s is heavy like a Fender Jazz Bass. But is isn’t a bad characteristic.
Not so heavy. All the Jazz Basses are a little heavy (for a girl 😂)

@@lorenzo1859 Mon expérience avec Thomann a été positive. Même lorsque j'ai terminé l'achat, le contact de l'employé qui préparait mes produits a été informé. Ils ont un contact téléphonique spécialisé pour le support client, pour résoudre ce doute, il vaut la peine de leur parler avant d'acheter.

I just got this bass this week and it literally puts any high-priced Fender to shame..........I only paid $135 for it from Thomann. I performed the set-up myself with a tweak of the truss rod and lowering of a few bridge saddles,....that was it. It is damn near impossible to beat Harley Benton's quality. I know of god awful basses like the G&L Placentia economy jazz bass that have an MSRP of $500,.........and they are horrendous right out of the box and should never have even left the factory.
It doesn’t put high-priced Fenders to shame. Buy a Fender and it’ll last for decades - I’ve had one since 1974 and it’s still a stage grade instrument that’s required next to no maintenance. A cheap bass like the Harley Benton won’t do that

Pela tua experiência achas que o som do baixo é equivalente a um fender jazz Méxicano?
@@oscarsantos2608 Não posso dizer que é equivalente, não tenho um ouvido tão bom assim para arriscar um palpite destes. Eu uso somente o baixo direto no amplificador, e o som me agrada muito. Para um baixo standard, acho que pode ser comparado ao mesmo tipo de baixo de qualquer marca mais famosa ou cara.

@@Michael-kz1wh The weight is relative, it is heavy as a Jazz Bass is normally heavy. A good wide and comfortable strap helps a lot, even this Harley Benton strap (which is the cheapest I know) helped me a lot! And after a few weeks I got used to the weight of the bass, I use it for 2 hours in the rehearsal and I no longer feel uncomfortable with the weight.

Depende do ponto de vista. Há baixos para iniciantes que custam menos de 100€ , e ainda há instrumentos usados. Para começar, podes comprar o mais barato mesmo. E na real, para quem não é profissional, um baixo de 100 soa quase igual a um baixo de 10000.
