I know he had 2 fumbles, 1 lost, looked like a hs qb throwing that pick, only threw for 169 yards on short passes, dinking and dunking and he had 38 yards rushing. He had 0 tds passing or rushing. Tyler Huntley can do that for 3 mil per

Im a Louisville fan, so I will ride with Lamar until the wheels fall off. That said, I have him as my starting QB on my fantasy team and was very surprised that he only got me 6 1/2 points this week. Why does this fanbase cry so much, they won the game and that’s all that matters in the end. We’re not the Vikings or chargers who put up 400+ passing yards with 5 tds and still lose. Our entire team but zay was rusty, just give it some time like our defense last year was terrible until week 5 and then they locked in. Let offense lock in and do their thing. Lamar wasn’t great today but he hasn’t played football since December and has an entire new offense system and receivers.

He was rusty, hadn't played a meaningful game in a minute but he need to make some mental notes of this game. They got to to get it tighter but I figured a lot of the starters would be a little rusty.

This is supposed to be an improvement .............they were being out coached as usual......the texans dominated the line of scrimmage and no one seemed to notice or care about the blitzes or the constant pressure......as usual lamar had to start being lamar and along with the defense save the day.......same old ravens.
That was a Demeco Ryan defense, he is a defensive guy and good one. It was expected for him to have the Texans defense improved. You will be seeing it differently by the end of the year, even if the Texans don't improve much overall they're defense will take a huge leap this year.
Some sloppy stuff but 1st game and a win so hopefully he shaken that off now!

Burrow had 82 yards today, Deshaun had 154.. Pickett had 232 but threw 2 pics and got blown out... Slow start for a lot of people, starters should've played preseason!

Our defense was awful the 1st half of the season with their new coach last year. Then they slowly became one of the best units in the league. Give it time.

I hope that was rust, because Lamar Jackson was very, very bad.
He was careless with the ball but his throws were on target the entire time. The o-line just acted as a wet napkin when it came to pass protection.
It’s not even being careless it’s the damn o line that can’t block. Lamar doesn’t get himself into the habit of throwing the ball away and the coaches need to work on that with him. Nobody was open during that int and the 2nd fumble wasn’t his fault, the running back knocked it.
Brock Purdy missed the off-season and had elbow surgery. He came out and destroyed a much better Steelers defense. So refreshing to watch a quarterback like Purdy who can actually pass the football consistently. Lamar hasn’t sniffed the top 20 in any quarterback statistic in years 😂
