It's not a simple mistake when it keeps happening year after year. Very unprofessional and just outright childish. TXT don't need that show anyway. If they had any morals they would apologize.
As an army what i know is that One time BTS got an invite to one of the biggest end-year-festival in the USA named the jingle balls eves and the date overlapped with the same date when MBC was gonna do their end-of-year festival. So BTS offered to send a pre-recorded performance to MBC to broadcast since they couldn't accept MBC's invite(because they already accepted the New York Jingle Ball invite by that time) so then MBC got mad about BTS not cancelling Jingle Ball show to attend their one so they said they won't air the pre recorded performance and started making back handed insults about bighit artists in various MBC shows. Even a while ago mbc crew went to hybe building to meet with seventeen and they released that video with the captions saying "seveteen build hybe building" even though everyone knows BTS is the one who built hybe building. So basically mbc insults BTS and TXT at every chance they get and they act like BTS and TXT does not exist just because they hate bighit for not pressuring BTS into attending "MBC festival" over "Jingle Ball New York festival"
MBC apologized to TXT like come on now they deserve better if this has happened before and it will keep happening that’s not a mistake it’s intentional to do this to TXT

It's not a problem they have with HYBE, it's Bighit artists MBC has beef with.
It's clearly not a mistake..they should have apologized for what they have done...
