Sabo hint has been dropped as soon as ace was introduced, because of the tattoo. Even at marineford, ace was name dropping him and the flashback you could see they "cut sabo" out.
Never caught that Sabo's dream was to write a book on his adventures and his voice is the narrator. Maybe this entire story is just Sabo reading his book to us.

Seeing how Garp in the navy refused promotions to be free of the government's influence and Dragon is the leader of the revolution, he'd still have the "freedom gene" in him. I think the question here is when did he decide to be the freest man on the sea? I'd say Shanks description of the pirate king had something to do with it, so by this point he'd already say the usual line.
Its not freest man probably as ace/sabo or wb/oden wouldnt laugh like that at it. All we know so far is that its not pirate king, roger had the same dream, luffy had this dream before he met shanks and after he met shanks he started calling this dream being pirate king (likely shanks influence). Crazy though how even after 1000 chapters Oda had been hinting more to luffys dream but we don't even know it lol...
@@enryu9538 he already met shanks and given the straw hat (so he won't meet him again until sailing out) at this point though, so if Shanks is what turned this initial dream into "being pirate king" he would have said that at this time.

One where luffys like I wont become a marine no matter what because i want to be a pirate (for some reason) and then he gets the hat and declares he wont be any pirate but the pirate king - im inferring that he had some dream before he met shanks already. Also shanks mentions to Rayleigh that he met a kid who "said the same words as the captain", that is the main highlight he takes away from luffy. So basically the change from his original phrase of his dream changed when he met shanks to pirate king. Ofc this is just my theory could be wrong but I bet he told Shanks his dream which was exactly the same as Rogers which shocked him, Shanks likely said something along the lines of what it takes to achieve that dream, - only the PK can do it etc etc, teasing him. Which explains why Luffy literally cut his face to prove to shanks how serious he was. I bet we'll learn it by the end of wano though so 😭 hopefully soon!

not really, i don't remember it that well but if i recall Zeke's dad did what he did in a manner that much more resembles the behaviour of the Jews in ww2 that cooperated with the Nazi's to higher their chances of survivel, that's different from sucking up to people of higher rank just to get extra benefits.
@@ricorichardson5945 ye its the same person, Grisha jagger, I've read the entire AOT Manga and honestly, it's still an entire mess in my brain, especially that weird ending of the Manga, then the extended ending.... anyway- i think he meant to talk about Grisha's father, and the whole situation of living for the eldians in Marly, which was very similar to the way Jews lived in Nazi Germany. but the initial comparison was just not a good one, there weren't really many similarities between how things were in AOT between Eldians inside Marly, and the nobles of One Piece licking the asses of higher nobles\Royals for their own gain.
