100% accurate. It's actually quite obvious and getting irritating. Like stop bringing up Zayn. He's not in the band anymore. Ugh. I love his reactions but he's not going into this album with an open mind. It's quite upsetting, tbh.
I disagree that their voices sound similar, they sound very different. It’s just mostly Harry singing in the song, so that’s maybe why you think that. It really is a shame if you are not going to like this album because Zayn isn’t in this, I think this is actually their best album.
I have to agree with this. They all have uniquely different voices that pair well together, not similar voices. I have already told myself Four was my favorite album because it has Zayn as well and it does sound really good. But I am almost convinced that MITAM is my favorite now because it’s my style of music and more mature. I’ve never wanted to accept that MITAM was my absolute favorite because Zayn wasn’t in it, but it definitely is now.

The thing about this song is I feel like it’s about them not really being able to be in a relationship because of their job because they’re not able to be at one place at one time, ( I like how this video just shows their every day things that they do when they’re not doing a show like Niall sitting in his hotel room alone with his guitar and them doing interviews and meetings and Harry looking out his window, stuff like that ,they’re just regular people) and I don’t really feel like this song necessarily is celebrating that bad boy imagine, because I think if you really listen it is a little bit somber, and the fact that maybe they would like to be that person for that girl but at that moment they couldn’t because of their busy schedules, even if you look at their faces in some of the parts of the video, were there alone in their hotel rooms, they don’t seem all that happy, so I really like this song because I feel like it’s just them trying to make the best out of their situation and trying to have some sort of relationships while living this crazy lifestyle that they were living at that time.
This is not a song about being a “bad boy” or anything, when you think about it from their perspective, it’ll sound so reasonable to you , they were on the road more than half the year barely had any time off , to maintain a “normal” relationship will be nearly impossible, someone with their fame is not someone you’ll be excited to take home to your mama, going on dates like normal people , will be nearly impossible, you’ll have to be a bit secretive about it if you don’t want the media to be in your face , they won’t be there most of the time so no way they’ll be there to hold you anytime you want them, so yeah it’s just how it is for them , it may sound alien to us , but I assume it’s one of the things that come with fame ,and this is why most celebrities are in a relationship with people who are famous too , it just makes it easier , cause they understand, once you’re in the industry you kinda see things from a different light , also would really appreciate it if you guys react to the album , not to the band , as much as I love your 1d reactions you guys being so stuck over zayn not being there is just gonna ruin the whole thing , as much as I live 1d and zayn , made in the a.m is their best album, it’s musically and lyrically phenomenal, but since you can’t get over it just please react to the album as if it wasn’t one direction, react to it as if it’s just an album and hopefully you’ll see just how good it is , anyways stay safe :)

One direction music is just lighthearted, ya know? that one part was definitely about Taylor Swift though lol but in general I think the lyrics aren't meant to be read into very much. Their music was genius in the sense that it was very catchy and easy to remember, and you just find yourself grooving along to it. Add in the fact that they all have beautiful voices and aren't exactly unattractive, and you have the biggest boy band in the world
To be honest, I have always had trouble distinguishing between Harry and Zayn's voice. They sound very similar in some places. But other than that other voices are pretty distinct. Louis's voice is the easiest to identify cos it's so different. So I really don't think it was about similar voice. It was more like Harry sang most of the song so maybe that's what you are saying. Don't give up on them though. I know you're gonna love the next songs.
Personally when I first got into 1d niall and louis’s voices were the easiest to recognize, I remember back in the day telling the difference between harry, zayn and liam’s vocals were a nightmare lol

Try not to think of Zayn while you listen to this album. When I discovered 1D, I didn't have a problem, because I listened to their albums backwards. I still think MITAM is their best work.

I think you got the messege of the song wrong, they said in some interviews that the song is about that people are not perfect and we all have our flaws but if you just wanna have fun and a good time, they are perfect for that. But it is not about not wanting to commit or like in a player mood

Ok I am going to be 1000000% the songs aren't meant to have the deepest meaning u some songs are just a bop just bcs Zayn was ur favorite doesn't mean this album is trash this is honestly ur best album and they don't at all sound the same if u don't like them then why react to it if u are just going to be so negative not every song has to have the best meaning ever it's quite obvious u don't want to listen to it bcs of Zayn so why do it or just stop mentioning his name he isn't in the band anymore
I agree. Zayn left because of his mental health. That is more important to me then anything. I still love the album because they are talented and I can't fully relate to this song but I know how hard it is to not be able to have a normal relationship. They can't be 1oo$ there.
Ok didn't u like ''Little Black Dress'' and I love the song but the lyrics didn't have much of meaning it was just saying little black dress and u liked so many of their songs that have no meaning but had Zayn in them all of a sudden u don't like the song I mean u do u just saying it is pretty obvious u just don't want to like it and the lyrics are beautiful it's about ''Not being perfect makes u perfect for someone which is a been through all the flaws'' beautiful message bcs it is relatable I man seriously 2 songs and all u have been bringing up is Zayn and Lyrics this is there best album lyrically and my personal favorite just saying if u are going to react don't bring up Zayn he isn't in the band at least try to show a little appreciation over the other boys

I don't think they sound the Same also they may edit their voices a little I think on the recorded songs they all kinda sound like Liam cause I can't heart niall accent as much and they do something with Louis voice Idk how to explain like he has a very unique voice but it sounds like they took something els out that's why I prefer live performances

i think that the sentence 'and if youre looking for someone to write your breakup songs about' is abt harry and taylor but bc that they just both needed a cover-up to make their actual relationships more private and that people wouldnt ask about it anymore. So that if taylor wrote break-up songs in her new album people would assume that they were about harry (bc it was shortly after their 'breakup') w/o ppl asking who they were abt.
