What year explorer was this? Did you get a terrain system fault error because the drive shaft would bounce around?
I got this fault too, i had to change my throttle body. there is a idle relearn process after the install too. it will fix that issue. carrier bearing will give you feed back when its bad, but there are no sensors to alarm that there is a problem
