ohh, I really like the contrast between the cool sky and the warm landscape. I also am able to see those elements that you discuss regarding drawing the viewers eye. Thanks!
Lovely painting. Not been painting very long, and always had trouble with trees, seeing you do it has been a great help. You make everything seems so easy. Many thanks for the video....🤓🎨👨🎨👍🏼
Thank you Sir for all your time and effort.... Learnt a lot from you...the way you describe every minute details it help us to paint with you easily.... Please keep on guiding us... Thanks a lot🙏💕
you make it look so easy Len, and i know it isn't for us beginners. my eyes aern't great, but when you zoomed in there was lots of detail..really like this one. Feel inspired to get some grasses in the foreground like that in bold purples. Thanks a lot.
Thank you, thank you for being you and thank you for being here. And thank you for uploading this just after Game of Thrones because it has totally depressed me.
I don't know if you're aware but you uploaded this just recently under the title "A simple painting for beginners." It's fine though, I've watched your videos dozens of times over.
Another great video. When describing paints you sometimes mention that paints are "student quality." I would imagine price is lower, so other than price what's the most significant difference between a student vs. a professional grade paint?
Student quality paint is cheaper and usually has less pigment therefore the color can fade quicker plus the color might not be strong when mixed with white or other colors. Some artist quality paints have expensive pigments and might cost many times the price of student quality. Not all student quality colors are inferior.
hello Len Hend how are you doing today I only found your channel today and iv already watch a hand full of your videos and I was wondering if you could help me with something to I'm going on a trip and ill be painting some land scapes I was wondering if you had any last minute advice for painting Australian outback?
There will be millions of flies lol. Depending on what time of year, acrylics might dry too fast. Australian landscapes often need a long canvas to show the great space. I rarely paint outdoors so I don't have a lot for you - sorry. Good luck.
@@lenhend thanks for the advice, also ill be experimenting with oils for the first time so that will be exciting, and also just out of curiosity why don't you paint out doors much?
@@aydenjacko Most of my work was entertaining and selling in shopping centers, I never did a lot of outdoor painting except the odd time. I prefer to go fishing now. Now I only paint to teach.
