Hi there, I got a HK 142AVR (home theater). My question is whether I could still add other devices in it such as mixer and equalizer and two monitor speakers (in addition to the 5 JBL speakers + a subwoofer that comes with the AVR).
I got a s15 ,I want to connect to some rca line coming from my laptop , which also connects to my receiver double eq stack and by nuMark dj.mixer, its worked with other several boxes I had with amplifier attached, but got no sound, took out and tested sub k.its.own , sub is fine,(small magnet for my.liking) but sounds good otherwise. urgent please help!

i have a harman kardon avr 35rds and my smart tv has only a optical audio out, the receiver that i have has also an input of that optical audio, so far so good . the receiver has also that input settings like :dolby digital, pro logic,3 stereo theater etc . with the audio optical input i can play the sound through all of that except the dolby digital which is the most important for what i want. every time i select the dolby digital it shows me the coaxial word there, so what to do ?

I have a Harman Kardon bluetooth computer speaker. I wanted to connect it to a microphone (for a wedding ceremony). I'm having trouble picking out the right cable and/or microphone for this. I am having the hardest time with my AVR 635. Cannot figure out to select fiber optic. It flashes analog and lets me scroll to Opt 1 then says unlock. No sound :(

can anybody help? my AVR 254 died, so I picked up a "like new AVR 146" from Amazon.com just need it for Audio 5.1 Surround sound for Movies and stereo 2.1 for my lp player. I can't seem to get the OSD to display on my TV. I have tried component Monitor out for the receiver to component in on my New Vizio LED (tv says no signal when I click the OSD button on the Remote) Also tried composite monitor out (yellow rca cord and plugged that into to the Blue component in of the tv and still says (no signal) any idea's?? what should I do if my HDMI out to tv is not working. I sent that AVR to a Harman Kardon rep. He said it was blown, buy another. Right.
What about playback functionality from a device just for audio? Anything on the front I can hook up audio cables to (Belkin "Y" Cable or Aux) so that I can listen from, say, a phone so I can play music out of it? Given its age, I can only assume Bluetooth is not a necessity yet for the device.

HK AVR-1700 DOES NOT CONVERT ANALOG WII INPUT TO HDMI OUTPUT LIKE THE VIDEO STATES. ONLY 2XXX AND 3XXX SERIES MODELS DO THIS!

Harman for past 20 years produce rubbish units...bad quality and mediocre or bad sound...products are based on design only
