Thank you so much for doing this video. Everything looks so much easier when you get to see it outside the car. Excellent job. I have a 2006 Pontiac Solstice 2.4l. You are going to save me so much frustration.
Thank you for the video, I'm doing this job right now (engine still in car) and the video really helps show where the bolt locations are since they are really hard to see otherwise.
Lol You don’t have to remove it. I was doing a used engine replacement and we replace the water pump & thermostat so we can keep the warranty on the engine. Did a video to show for the ppl who do the water pump in the car so they have a better idea
@steveh1256 i do them in the car all the time. I was just trying to get everyone a better look at from outside and not reaching up and just feeling. Next one i get in ill make a video of it being done in car

Water pump would come with the rest of the gaskets needed.
Nice. What would one expect to pay a mechanic to do this? A good guesstimate.
depending on the shops labor rate it's a 3-4hr job + coolant & water pump your probably around 500-700

He didn't show the installation of the timing tool.
I did show it, and showed where & how it goes.

@TheShopLLC40 For sure. If I had to so it again. I could cut the time in half.
