A million thank you’s from my side. I’m a colour pencil fine artist, but want to try something new. Your tutorials are so perfect (and fun to watch). Thank you for your kindness and humbleness to share your tips with everyone.
Came from Kirsty's video. I quit using ballpoint pens because every time I go to museum to work with a ballpoint pen in my pocket, it will explode. It doesn't happen anywhere else, just the museum. But I'm giving my pens another chance, trying very hard to do the do's, but I'm doing the don'ts 😂
This is the first video I watched. I was searching a video that can teach me how to draw and colour using ball point coloured pen. It is because sometimes I get bored while studying and I want to draw something nice using my pens but It is always a mess. I never learnt how to draw and colour. Please do some videos on it for beginners. 💜
If the vid gets a dislike in one minute (before they can even watch it in full) it's just a hater. Imagine being so jealous that you turn notifications on just to hate a vid as soon as it comes out. LMAO
Your art is amazing dude! A good challenge and practice would be to get one of those color multicolor ballpoint pens and practice it’s perfect tool and it’s cheap get the 10 color one
Hello.i have many colored ballpens..and i loved to draw.but i dont know how to used this ballpens to make realistic pictures..and i think this videos will help me..new subscribers here..!!!from philippines.👌
Can someone tell me where can I get these pens? It seems although when I get a ballpoint pen, regardless of pressure I apply, lines turn very dark and defined.
It's not the pens, it is the pressure. I use Bic pens and can get many gradations and achieve the same results. One trick you can try is holding the pen at the top end, away from the point. If you hold it where you would if you were writing, it is easy to put too much pressure. If you hold the other end, it is harder to apply that heavy pressure. Another trick you can try is angling the pen on the paper. When most people write, the pen is at a 70 to 90 degree angle. to the paper. Angle the pen down until it is about a 30 to 45 degree angle, until it stops making marks. Then, moving the pen back and forth, slowly raise the angle until it starts to just barely making marks on the paper. That can help until you develop your pressure control. I know you posted this question a year ago, but I hope this helps if you are still struggling. This is what has worked for me, over the years.
Nice video this will help me a lot refining my skills I was searching for too long what colour should I use for a realistic skin tone. Thanks more subscribers and likes to come
most people think that left handed people are more artistic but i have seen way too many right handed artists to believe thats really true. but im left handed tho
The orange square on my right is how I drew Batman. Otherwise, the paper would be distorted. So yeah! It helps to reduce distortion on the other side of your paper by crosshatching at 40°.
I have never liked gel pens, too shiny and difficult to blend. I have some links to pen in my description. staedtler, bic and Ryman stationary (UK ONLY) are my favorite brands to use.
Nice demo and well explained. Pity about the damned stupid advert every few minutes to interrupt concentration. By the way, what do you do about your glitches, when you forget to wipe your pen and get an ink blot?
Amazing video! I don’t even use ballpoint pens and I still watched the whole thing 😂
Kirsty Partridge Art thank you for the support 🙏🏿

DeMoose Art could you make a tutorial on how to get started with using colored ballpoint pens to color an image?
The orange square on my right is how I drew Batman. Otherwise, the paper would be distorted.
So yeah! It helps to reduce distortion on the other side of your paper by crosshatching at 40°.
Wow! This is an amazing tutorial! Considering subscribing!

You are welcome
Thanks broh, good vídeo :'3
Cool!
Wow you have talent, must took great confidence to use pens. Once it’s there you cannot reverse or change it.
Do you use reference
What Ballpen do you use sir?
I can't get bic gel pins to go on this light, no matter how light pressure I use. What type of pending should I use?
I have never liked gel pens, too shiny and difficult to blend. I have some links to pen in my description. staedtler, bic and Ryman stationary (UK ONLY) are my favorite brands to use.
gel pens are water based and standard ballpoint pens are oil based so thats why your pens cant go on lighter
what brand of pen are you using?
Very nice vidéo 💪
Thanks man when i saw people do skin with orange i thought it was like a very orangy orange
yeah I see that a lot, its all about layers and pressure control
DeMoose Art thx when i did realism with pens it looked like cartoon because of my coloring but you are the master of realism with ballpoint pens
What kind of pens you use

I wonder if this could be applied to pencils🤔
Valiant Faynt pretty sure
Light Layering is exactly what you have to do with colored pencils to build up a sense of depth.
problem is the blobs of ink all time.and no matter if you keep pressuring the same exact amount they come out
Why is there not Athing where you can subscribe 10000 times ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
