I stumbled onto one of your videos a couple weeks ago and have watched several other videos since. I have owned several boats and thought I knew a thing or two, but I have learned a lot by watching your videos. I am getting ready to buy a new boat and spend a chunk of money and wanted to be smart about which boat I pick. Thanks for your time! I appreciate it!

I can tell you know what you’re talking about. I also hold the same license. Your information is very helpful because so many people have no idea when it comes to boating. Down in south Louisiana we run a lot of custom aluminum boats and they are just as diverse in quality as fiberglass. Good channel and keep up the good work.

Hey Capt Matt. I am looking to do some small time boating in Bonita Springs, FL. Your opinion on the Sea Doo Switch pontoons? My son is actively in the Coast Guard and is stationed in San Diego. MSRT unit. He has been underway all over and Im not sure when he is going to get time off. Lol

I'm not a fan of them, the plastic won't hold up well in the FL sun and salt over time. With that said, I have subscribers that love theirs and fit their boating need.
What are you looking to do on the boat?
      Where will you store it?
Where would you like to take it?
*They CANNOT be left in the water for more than a day because of the way they are built and the jet drive system

@@BoatBuyersSecretWeapon thank you for your response.
I'm located in Southwest Florida. Estero Bay area. I have a cove off a canal and I do have a floating boat dock. The majority of the time will be just me and maybe a friend. I was looking for something small but spacious like the 13-footer they offer. But most importantly my concern is problematic issues. I like simplicity but don't want to be fooled.

@@Bonniemish for simplicity and 1 to 2 people, you may want to consider something like the 13' Whaler sport or other brand skiff/sport. Easy to run, easy to maintain, easy up keep and you can add some comfort options as well.
