Exactly not everyone likes full coverage using the drag queen makeup techniques calling it glam or instagram look. I seriously think some of the big gurus have facial dysphoria because they keep layering on makeup, botox, lip fillers, Groucho Marx eyebrows, etc. to the point where they look nothing like themselves. Makeup no longer is "fun" nor is "better version of themselves". ... It's about looking like they're going to the club or bar trying to hook up with a sugar daddy.
Just in case you’re sensitive to it, there’s coconut oil in the primer as well as the coconut water. It isn’t in the tinted moisturizer or mist, but if it breaks you out I’m just letting you know!
I’ve SO been waiting for your review. Most I’ve seen are from people who use more full coverage products so they try to build up coverage and end up with a greasy mess. But you are a light coverage girl like me so your opinion is so helpful!!
Thank you for actually reviewing this as a tinted moisturizer! I’ve seen several reviews now of ladies talking about it like a foundation. Comparing it to foundations and criticizing the coverage… coverage does not define the quality of a product, and not every product is supposed to be for coverage! I personally love to do moisturizer type products and that is all I wear for complexion evening over my Altruist SPF. It sounds like one I should definitely try! Thanks for the review!
I have oily skin and I set the tinted moisturizer with a translucent setting powder and it holds up all day. So much better than the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. Also, awesome editing Jess 👏🏻
This is my favorite type of product because I touch my face a lot and high coverage foundation ends up looking patchy where a tinted moisturizer fades more gracefully.

I prefer light coverage most of the time, even on my 40 year old sun damaged skin 😆, so I’m glad to see your review with knowing you don’t usually wear heavy coverage. My skin feels like it cannot breathe and gets itchy with full coverage, and I prefer to look more like “me.”
I have been wearing this daily since I got it, and I am in love. I just use a little concealer on the areas I need more coverage, but this is so pretty.
I received this yesterday and I actually ordered the right shade in the Pretty Fresh HA tinted moisturizer. I ordered medium 10N and is the same shade as too faced peach perfect in nude or too faced born this way in nude. I am wearing it this way and I like it. I applied it with my fingers and dabbed it with a damp sponge. I wore sunscreen underneath. I did not set it with powdered. My skin is dry.

I just got this and tried ot for the first time today. I love it for every day. I'm not a full coverage person even on my glam days so something like this to slap on for work is perfect.
I have the Missha which I got from Amazon. It is nice and thick but one thing I don't remember you mentioning is the fragrance. It has a very strong perfume scent. It does not linger but it is very strong going on.
I like the tinted moisturizer from Colourpop is very nice. Very moisturized on my dry aging skin. Have light coverage due to it is a tinted moisturizer so it even out my skin. It not long lasting because it not foundation. It looks beautiful on you. Thanks for the review. You’re awesome 👍🏻

I have a hard time telling what her skin tone is actually at because of her usually bright lighting. I thiiiink I'm around the same shade? Though my ruddy cheeks & freckles make me look more tan. Who needs bronzer? 🤣
I know I'm late to this party but Taylor is about 1-2 shades darker than I am and I'm wondering if anyone found a shade match in this tinted moisturizer or the new Pretty Fresh foundation. MAC NW10 is an almost perfect match for me but ColourPop's shade match matrix seems really off, matching me with shades that are too dark.
@@ZijnShayatanica I completely agree! I think the lights are so bright that they make her look much fairer than she truly is, especially when compared to the foundation shades she buys. I often see she's bought shades that would seem to be 2-3 shades too dark for her and many times she picks warm undertones. I was under the impression that she was extremely fair with a cool undertone, at least that's what she said in her earlier videos. I used to watch her but all of her foundation "reviews" are just first impressions and I don't find that particularly helpful. Outside of her 15 Days of Foundation, she doesn't often give updates on foundation she's tested the one time so I really only watch the 15 DoF series.

I’m not sure about the new foundation, but the tinted moisturizer in the lightest shade 1N is light enough for me I think, but it’s way too cool toned and pink for me, I have a yellow-neutral undertone. My best shade match is the L’oréal infallible freshwear foundation in the shade 400, for reference.

So far I’ve found the tinted moisturizer to be surprisingly drying. It shows dry patches. It’s pretty though. I’m trying with a good moisturizer under it.
Great review, Jess! That’s definitely up my alley. My favorite lighter coverage product is the NYX BB cream (the older one). This reminds me a lot of that.
Im going to give this tinted moisturizer a try. I’m bummed it doesn’t have any SPF. I like to have that extra added spf to double up because typically tinted moisturizer days mean im outside and always love doubling up on SPF!

I’m in love with this tinted moisturizer! I’m not a big foundation person so this is amazing for when I want something but not too much. The tinted moisturizer is definitely my favorite and then the primer, the mist is good but nothing amazing.
I love this stuff, especially since I don’t need a lot of coverage. I’m going to be 40 next year and I’ve noticed a lot more texture and dryness in my skin, so regular foundation looks awful. This tinted moisturizer gives me a natural, even, and soft/non-powdery look. I have makeup on but it doesn’t look like it. It’s going to be perfect in winter when I can’t use powder foundations anymore. I probably have to set my nose with something because that’s usually the first part to go after a long work day.

I use the same moisturizer! It’s not my favorite but to be fair, I hate any moisturizer with spf because they all feel so greasy. But I have to use spf because I don’t want to age prematurely. I can’t win lol. I also have been using Cerave’s new vitamin c serum. Pretty glow to the skin but I don’t see any difference in acne scars or evenness.

Missha BB is awesome! It used to be all I'd wear. Just be aware it has a grayish tint to it. I had to be careful to blend it and use a powder with more color to take away the grayish cast. It's still fantastic stuff, worth the extra effort. A lot of Korean BB creams have that grayish tint.
Yesstyle.com or misshausa.com , amazon sometimes sells fake products . Missha have different shades like 5 , more dark shades available, I uses 25 and 27 is light medium with yellow undertone .
Think I definitely want to try the primer! I'm SUPER interested in the tinted moisturizer too, and it looks like it performs super well, but I have several bb/cc creams that need to get used first, haha. Thanks so much for doing this vid! Super helpful! :D

ELF makes a hyaluronic primer that I really enjoy. It’s $6, feels moisturizing and I think has the slightest blurring effect.

I think this would be perfect for the summer for me as that’s when I just want light coverage.
I use the same moisturizer! It’s not my favorite but to be fair, I hate any moisturizer with spf because they all feel so greasy. But I have to use spf because I don’t want to age prematurely. I can’t win lol. I also have been using Cerave’s new vitamin c serum. Pretty glow to the skin but I don’t see any difference in acne scars or evenness.

Missha BB is awesome! It used to be all I'd wear. Just be aware it has a grayish tint to it. I had to be careful to blend it and use a powder with more color to take away the grayish cast. It's still fantastic stuff, worth the extra effort. A lot of Korean BB creams have that grayish tint.
I buy it off beautynetkorea and it's a lot cheaper than other places, just fyi
Yesstyle.com or misshausa.com , amazon sometimes sells fake products . Missha have different shades like 5 , more dark shades available, I uses 25 and 27 is light medium with yellow undertone .
Think I definitely want to try the primer! I'm SUPER interested in the tinted moisturizer too, and it looks like it performs super well, but I have several bb/cc creams that need to get used first, haha. Thanks so much for doing this vid! Super helpful! :D
