I don't think Joffrey is 'annoying', because the actor just plays him so well. I can't be annoyed by a performance so impressive. He is a nasty piece of work, don't get me wrong, but I just love watching his douchbaggery because he pulls it off so convincingly.

I thought he would be killed in battle. A crossbow would be a suitable weapon, because he's killed a few with it. Or beheaded in a public execution. There's some karma to such an end. Poison is a bit of a cowardly and unsatisfying way to off him.

I can't imagine Joffrey's proud-to-be-the-offspring-of-the-incestuous-relationship-between-the-Prince-and-Princess-of-Darkness attitude is going to be portrayed more convincingly or thoroughly by any other actor during our lifetimes!

I will NEVER EVER understand why Ross is so hated. He is the most exciting and likeable character on the show after Chandler and Phoebe. It is, primarily, his moments on "Friends" that are remembered.
Scenes such as
- Pivot
- Contacting the condom company
- His Thanksgiving sandwhich
- His reaction to Monica and Chandler
- His jealousy over Rachel (a little irritating at times, but extremely funny)
- When he gets drunk during a dinner with Charlie, Joey and Rachel
and plenty more. Someone, I want an explanation for why Ross is even put at the start of the video. The show is better because of him. If anyone in "Friends" is annoying, its Monica to me.

Giving Skyler so much screen time is problably the only thing that sucked about Breaking Bad. I was gonna say the most annoying race was close between her and Joffrey but now that I think about it Skyler is definitely worse. At least Joffrey plays an important role in the show.

Lana Lang from Smallville needs to be on this list. Never have I hated a character as much as her. I had to tell myself several times "This is just a tv show, there is no reason to hate a fictional character so much." Ugh.
Yes. She started being kind of likable in the two earlier seasons and a bit on the third one. However, she became so annoying about romance with her "you must be fully honest with me" policy. Worse, she was the most grave case of romance idiocy, since hardly a chapter with her passed where she didn't make that stupid discourses.
But,well. A big weakness in Smallville were the characters.
Chloe Sullivan was the character I hated the most that had too much of the spotlight and I hated she took Lois Lane's role for a little while before she came on the show, being like the Justice League's version of Batman's Barbara Gordon's Oracle or known as Watchtower and hooked up with Oliver Queen/Green Arrow when his girlfriend is suppose to be Dinah Laurel Lance/Black Canary. And I blamed her for turning Lana Lang into an annoying character and kicking Pete Ross off the show. Lol. Why they couldn't made the show closer to Smallville from the Superman comics instead of introducing a new character that would steal the other characters' roles, being Clark Kent's best friend? Lol. Overall still love Smallville and now loving Arrow, The Flash and Gotham! Lana Lang was more likable in Superman: The Animated Series. She knew about Clark's abilities since the beginning and was his best friend/girlfriend in high school in that series.

for one, she basically told Shane, who she knew was mentally unstable at the time, that as long as rick and carl were alive, she'd never love him. so what does shane do? makes all possible attempts to kill rick. and not only that, he was only in a coma for 2 months and she was already sleeping with shane. Some best friend, right? also, she never actually watched carl. he was on his own almost all the time, and thats how he got that walker out of the mud, who killed dale. plus, she became a trainwreck when zombies were around. and when rick was upset with her about not telling him about shane and her, she got pissed at him because he didn't get over it right away. shane tried to kill rick 3 times, and it wasnt until the 3rd time that Rick knew he had to kill shane to survive. he should have left him at the overrun bus station on the bus. And she still wasn't as obnoxious as the Lori from the comics, and that's saying something

Harry Troughtman Marie was annoying but she was quite consistent with her character so to speak. Skylar on the other hand was a big hypocrite, which is what makes her such a detestable bitch. She's so self-righteous, while she was condemning walt for his illegal activities, she herself was money laundering for her ex boss, just to help him out. Walt was doing it for the family. Not to mention he slept with ted after that.

The most annoying character in Game of Thrones is BY FAR Joffrey. He is sadistic, cruel, spoiled, arrogant, a coward, and imbecile. All of these things make for the most hated character in the series. While Cersei is also annoying, she is not sadistic, imbecile or a coward and not as spoiled and arrogant as Joffrey. However she is a terrible mother who cannot control her son, and haven't really tried until he is already king, which obviously is way too late.

Number 1 is untouchable, annoying is an understatement if you are talking about King Geoffrey.. I understand this was published in 2013 but if they saw Carl in season 4 of The Walking Dead he should be in number 2. I want him dead in Season 5...

Although, Jack Gleeson (the actor behind Joffrey) said recently that he wants to leave Game of thrones, despite that according to the third book Joffrey should die in the next episode or so, that I suppose they were already filmed at the time of the anouncement. Also, season 3 introduced some considerable divergence in the plot between the two media, so... We don't really have a clue! If I had to gamble, I would bet that he somehow survives the season.

Janice is actually one of my favourite characters on Friends. So her voice is nasal, she has a machine gun laugh, and she can be presumptuous. So what? She’s sweet, she’s friendly and she’s got a big heart. She’s also very attractive. I think she deserved way better than what the friends gave her.

I'd like to add Malia Tate ("Teen Wolf") to the list. She annoys me (and others) because she's a poorly written character. The writers could have done so much with her. Instead, she comes across as a character who was thrown together at the last minute - and all so Stiles could have a girlfriend. She's so poorly written, she's hated by many a, "Teen Wolf" fan. Myself included.
Here's another person I'd like to add: The version of Monica ("Friends") that we see in the seasons following the beginning of her romantic relationship with Chandler.
Oh! And don't forget Kelly Taylor and Clare Arnold, both from, "Beverly Hills, 90210."
To be honest, I don't mind Janice ("Friends"), Fran ("The Nanny"), or Wesley ("Star Trek: TNG").

Wesley Crusher was an annoying little goody-goody. Oprah Winfrey's character, with those awful hats, was even more annoying - the Jar Jar Binks of "Star Trek", but far worse. Even that know-all Data is not as tiresome. ST-TNG was ruined by stupid ideas like the holodeck, and by PC nonsense. The 1996 film "First Contact", OTOH, was almost as good as "The Wrath of Khan".

Wil Wheaton dissing Star Trek and fans? I hardly doubt that not from the interviews I have seen from behind the scenes featurettes. I think he had a well respect for Gene Roddenberry, the creator of Star Trek, saw him as a father figure which his character, Wesley Crusher was kind of inspired from, based off even though some fans hated his character.

Wow you thought Guinan (Whoopi Goldberg) annoying? I think she was one of the best characters on Star Trek and a very close friend to Captain Picard and I love Data including Captain Picard which I thought made the show awesome. Star Trek: The Next Generation was ruined by the holodeck episodes? Hahaha. That's load of bullshit. And I think the holodeck is one of the coolest ideas and inventions on Star Trek and I heard real scientists are trying to find a way to make holograms to become a reality and make a real life holodeck. We wouldn't have the Doctor from Voyager (another favorite of mine) if the holodeck never was introduced on TNG.
Star Trek: The Next Generation is one of the best Star Trek series and probably THE most successful series ever better than the original 'Star Trek' series not saying the original series wasn't great I love it almost as much as I love TNG and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as close second then Voyager and Enterprise the two lesser successful Trek series but I enjoy them too.
Star Trek: First Contact probably was the best Star Trek: TNG movie which I have to agree with other fans. Sounds like you hate TNG. I enjoyed some of the holodeck episodes but I love the Borg and Q episodes (including ones from Voyager) and some other episodes the best. I love the Dominion War arc on DS9 and the 3rd season of Enterprise (about them finding the Xindi and stopping them from using the Xindi bio weapon to destroy Earth) and their 4th season the best.

I don't know where you heard all of this from. All on my Star Trek: The Next Generation DVDs/Blu-ray Discs I don't see him dissing or hating Star Trek at all or from other videos. He even returned in Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) the last Star Trek: TNG movie as a cameo along with Guinan (Whoopi Goldberg). I even watched a episode of Star Talk him with Neil deGrasse Tyson and them talking about Star Trek. I think Wil Wheaton is a pretty cool person and I enjoyed him in few episodes of the Big Bang Theory. And I found out he's a big comic book geek and in one of the interviews he said that he was in fact a Trekkie even though it was a very old interview back in the day where he was on the sets. I think people just hate Wil Wheaton because they hate Wesley Crusher which I think is just stupid. Of course Wesley Crusher was my less favorite character on Star Trek: TNG even his mother. I thought Doctor Katherine Pulaski was a more interesting doctor on TNG than Beverly. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, Julian Bashir, the EMH (Emergency Medical Hologram) Doctor and Phlox are my favorite doctors from each Star Trek series and Katherine Pulaski and Beverly Crusher were okay.
While I'm not one of them a lot of people did find Wesley annoying including the talented actor who played him Wil Wheaton.

stop08it If you don't want to watch the show try reading the books. Some things are put on TV because sex etc. sells. The books don't seem to be so explicit-but I am on #2 and maybe I am speaking too soon, but regardless I do have to strongly recommend them.

Agreed. My standard for villains include brilliance, brutal capacity, a cold and calculating approach. Not to mention such villains should be articulate, multidimensional (in terms of character) and should totally be played the right actor. The perfect villain should also be the kind that would make the audience question their loyalty and find themselves gravitating towards him or her. Being whiny and downright arrogant doesn't quite cut it.
Joffrey's not annoying. His character is entertaining and exciting. I find most of the show boring, really, but his scenes never are.

Well, Rachel had her annoying moments for sure. Just like Phoebe. But still, Ross irritated me more. He could be very selfish and condescending. And the whole "We were on a break"-thing really bugged me, too.
Possibly. I get where you're coming from, but I actually thought Ross was one of the more relatable characters (although maybe that says more about me really). He did a lot of the wrong things most of the time, but mainly because he was trying to help. Yes, he was selfish to a degree, but Rachel was more so, especially when they were together. I never found him condescending though. I always thought that the other characters were deliberately antagonising him (once again I think my autism is slipping through there). Ross is just bad at handling situations, and I felt sorry for him a lot. He deserved someone who appreciated him more, which is something Rachel could never decide on.
I do agree with him on "we were on a break" though. If I had had that conversation with my boyfriend that he had had with Rachel, I would be under the impression that we were over. It was a misunderstanding but a perfectly valid one. Although Ross accepted what he did was wrong, Rachel never accepted her part in that.
The point is I guess it really depends on the kind of person you are to relate most to characters. I know I'm a "Ross". I may not like it but it tends to be my character type. My fiancé is a "Chandler" and he knows it too. I think however it is just that that made F.R.I.E.N.D.S. such a big hit. All of those characters are real people (magnified to a comical level but more or less possess the traits of real people). We can all see traits of ourselves and our friends in each of the characters. It's something of a masterpiece and honestly remains one of my favourite shows to date.
A LOT of people will visciously disagree with me, but as annoying as Fran was, she brought charm and comedy chops to the table, and I actually liked her. And despite the general intolerance for her, you can't deny, she was BEAUTIFUL, I hated 90's fashion and hair, but she had probably one of the most gorgeous bodies I've ever seen, a gorgeous face, and made it work.
She was the one character I knew I didn't agree with, for the same reasons as you. The point of the show was her lovably annoying persona.
