Can’t get enough of your content ! Currently I’m very good at tinting but still very amateur at PPF love seeing how good you are at both ! Definitely can’t wait to have your expertise !
It's awesome to hear the good feedback. It's been a ton of years. I've been at this at since 1998. Just keep at it and you'll get there! Just start by doing good quality work and then speed will come with time. 👍😀
I saw in a previous video a year ago you switched to PremiumShield. Is that still the case and how does it compare to SolarGuard? Did you have any yellowing issues?
No real yellowing issues. We have left PremiumShield as well. The brand no longer has any support. The product is still available, but Eastman doesn't recognize it as one of their brands they own. The SolarGard product was too soft and flimsy feeling. It did hold up pretty well, though. Lately, we've been installing SunTek Ultra. It's a very ridgid PPF that seems like it'll withstand a lot of damage or punishment from the road.
I have the same truck for my personal vehicle. Those are aftermarket emblems, so that could be some of the issue with the pattern. Never got around to doing the good because I knew it would be a pain. If I'm going to do something like that, I want to be getting paid 😂
Thank you for that feedback on the emblems! That makes so much more since now. The cut outs were just do far off. I'm with you on the getting paid part! it was a lot of work for such a small part.
Good question. I think I'd like to see $300-400 for that part. And really, I'd like to get $500 for that installation. It's a lot of work. It is very tedious and detailed, and that equals a lot of time. 😁👍🏻

How much do you charge for the hood scoop ppf job? That doesn't look like fun
