The first season of Digimon Adventure was way ahead of its time, in terms of characterization and proper development arcs. I remember watching it as a child every weekend morning with my younger brother, being in awe of those amazing new forms the Digimon managed to reach, but it wasn't until I decided to re-watch the series when I graduated High School and enrolled in University that I realized how genius its story was.
Each of the Digi-Destined was a child with problems and flaws that struggled to make it through real life, with each of their respective Digimon representing not their greatest characteristic, but instead what they needed to achieve. Gabumon helped Matt open up to his friends. Tentomon inspired Izzy to be more engaged than just an intel provider. Gomamon encouraged Joe to be more loose and adventurous. It was all truly awesome, and I couldn't be more thankful for having this series as a part of my childhood.
Thank you for this amazing rendition of what might just be the most emotional and pumped up battle theme my younger self spent his weekend mornings rocking out to.

This is so nostalgic, I used to watch Digimon all the time and now its a comfort anime for me and the songs always make me feel so safe and happy so this was amazing to listen to! Great job!
When I was a kid I saw the dub so never heard the JP music. So this song reminds me of Tri, so instead of feeling happy and safe it makes me feel sad and grief ridden.

Agumon ftw! This made me rmbr the time when i was about 14 i made my own Digimon fanfiction. Based on what i knew from the first 2 seasons. Made my own character and made Wizardmon my digipartner and made him a original evolution. Man if only i could remember it since i lost it all. At the age of 38 i still have fond memories of Digimon. Thank you for this!

Love the german version of the song. The lyrics are awesome, the guy's voice has the perfect youthful and passionate tone the theme requires...and mate, they really nailed it with the alternate instrumental.

Brings childhood memories. I remenber when the first episode was air back in the 90s usa and watched with my sisters and brother it was an awesome time and great memories. I'm surprised so many English speakers know this song or saw Digimon Adventure in Japanese as children. Most people in the US I've talked to only saw the dub or think of Digimon is a Pokemon knockoff.
I once knew s guy who's kids where into Digimon he even called himself digidragon lol
In most countries, like Greece or Germany, they used the original songs dubbed in their respective language.
I pity them
Me, I'm from Canada. But,I saw the serie for the first time when I was way older, througt the internet . So, I've never watched the dubbed version when I was young. I am even discust by it each time I find it on the internet because of how much modification they made to original story and the slang that the character use. I way prefer Deamon over Creepymon, even If I understand why they had to do it.

Well I'll just vent with you what I felt before and now. Thank you for remembering my childhood, I cried to hear this, but you know it was good to cry with joy .. remember how happy I was .. And although I'm from 1993 I don't forget when the digimons were important to me .. I I felt lonely, very lonely I didn't talk to anyone or family in this real world and I remember well that I wanted to go digital because those 8 kids seeing the digimons because they were real friends helping each other out was the best thing , from my childhood .. I had a lot of company every day, I even dreamed because only they realized me .. all the things they did FRIENDSHIP is COURAGE lacked in me .. And today I thank the digimons.
I will never forget!!! From that I passed and you know? I was repeating everything again .. Thanks to anyone who had the patience to read this ..
