I am aware that a lot of these guns were added in a Farewell to Arms, but please keep in mind that this video was made months before the update. Look at the upload date.
I did not know they would be added, so please keep that in mind.
it was interesting to find a few guns i found in this video. in the Farewell to Arms update. like the Tetris gun and the Evo!ver. along with the Chamber Gun.

I gotta say... third party controller is the most epic gun in the forge.
Honestly, the Triple Gun is very powerful in the second and final form IMO.
Christopher Wallace chamber gun is the single most op gun in the game on bullet hell. It makes bullet hell the easiest floor if you have it and have been to it before.
A small thing about the JK-47, the text says "Substitute" whilst the AK-47 says "Accept no substitutes"
also JK doesnt stand for JoKing, it stands for Just Kidding

The encircler would have probably been a cheese wheel gun.
Sustenance means food, the rat likes it, therefore meaning cheese, and circles plus cheese mean cheese wheels.

iirc Hero Sword is actually an active item, not a "gun". If you spawn it in while holding an active item with MtG, it drops on the floor; this is pretty similar to how other actives react when you use the console to give them to yourself while holding an active. This might just be a bug though, or I might just be thinking of another item.
You may have spawned the Ceremonial Knife item, though I'm not sure.

So wait, does this "JK-47" mean that the creatures of the gungeon consume guns? Or gun based food products? Confusing. It could very well be likely, due to the abundance of guns in the gungeon.

The lute is probably a reference to Crypt of the Necrodancer
The gunderfury is most likely based off the legendary thunderfury sword from world of warcraft, its lvl 60 appearance is very similar to the actual thunderfury. (With the 2 barrels looking like 2 blades). The 10 level system is also a refrence to world of warcrafts leveling system, and lvl 60 was the max level when the game originally came out
I think the encircler is the rats cheese gun because last resort of sustenance means you could eat it if you needed to and also it says the rat finds it “appetizing
Triple gun is still able to be gotten in blessed runs, I could get footage of it but it still is able to be gotten.
I think we could conclude one thing from all of this.

The black revolver is the finished gun. There's a skull on it and the last shot give dominion over enemy bullets. And the finish ed gun has a terrible amount of curse

And even then, this isn't accounting new guns, so if there are new ones this number goes down even more... welp! Time to work on a mod for as much unused content as possible.

The encircler is probably an early version of the rat’s cheese gun. It’s description is close to the one in game and it gives you sustenance meaning you can eat it to get energy

20:07 The Budget Raygun looks like a weapon dropped by The Golem in the game Terraria. It's visualy close, with the same color scheme, and it's a ray-shooting gun in the game.
The gun on the far right at 21:29 looks quite a bit like the LAER from Fallout New Vegas: Old World Blues to me

Holy shot, I made a character concept for a contest on this game’s discord that had a controller that took control of enemies, like Third Party Controller! I never knew it was a scrapped gun concept, that’s cool!
The original description of the black revolver referencing the dark wind blowing to me clearly means it's the gun the lich is holding on the title screen. And this is backed up through the fact that the starter gun for the gunslinger character - slinger gun - (who is obviously the lich before he became corrupt) almost perfectly resembles the black revolver. So yeah, I'm pretty sure the gun being held on the title screen is the black revolver.
Also that third gun at 21:30 is an early laser rifle I think
And i think the second is maybe a early winchester shotgun idk.

Yo, since you got an interest in unused things in ETG, I found some things since I started modding the game recently. I recompiled the Anywhere mod and managed to get it working in the version of the game just before AG&D. The flow paths changed drastically in AG&D so while the command still works on it (more on that in a bit), the flows moved/don't exist so the command does nothing.
Anyways I got two videos to share. I recorded a full run through a test flow with the Jungle tile set! It's very interesting and I bet you want to see this tileset in motion as I believe the last time you touched on this, there was only screenshots.
Sadly the Future tileset and Nakatami tilesets no longer work. But Jungle still does. I tested Jungle in AG&D. The string for it still exists but the game hangs when loading it so yeah looks like even that one didn't make it past the AG&D update. :(
Anyways here's the first video I have to show you. Recorded from post Supply Drop but pre-AG&D version of the game:

I used the flow "test_west_floor_03a_flow" Dungeon layout flow for this test run. It appears to meant for the West tile set which doesn't have string in the original Anywhere mod, so that tile set was removed really early in the game's release. Might not have even made it into the first release?
But then again I thought I saw screenshots of it from the original Anywhere mod's ModWorkShop page. Anyways, looks like West might have been a beta version of the Abbey since this test flow end with Old King as the boss. Uses mostly rooms from the 4th chamber though. So not sure what they wanted to do with this one.
Definitely meant for West because I saw two cacti objects in the starting room. Those only appear when I loaded that flow. I loaded floor 1 with this tile set and no cacti there, so these objects were unique to that flow layout.
And next up is a test floor that still exists in AG&D!

The flow path for this one is in Testing/ and the flow name is NPCParadise. I haven't checked what it looks like in the pre-AG&D game, but post AG&D it has all the new AG&D NPCs. The room contains 4 or 5 shrines too, but only the pre AG&D ones. I guess they didn't have room for the new ones in the room layouts they made for this floor and decided to not bother editing it or something. :P
So that's it for now. Maybe I can get the old command to fully work in AG&D. Would be cool to load floors with different tile sets. Thus far only the Boss Rush floors, the glitch chest floor, and that one test room I was able load in with it.

I can verify that I've used the fat line on the switch version post ag&d, and it does work exactly how you described, which is confusing if you can't actually obtain it since it works completely fine

I am going to guess this gun was going to be made of cheese like the Elimentaler. Hence the mention of “Sustenance”, since a gun made of cheese would most likely be edible.
The 50 Kthuliber Pistol looks similar to the Holey Grail, with the colouration and holes. Holey Grail also refers that it may have to do with a future character.
the black revolver may be related to the killithid because in the pre AG&D gun it has two things in the description that are very similar to certain things relating to the killithid first grants limited domination of enemy bullets thats similar to an ability that the killithid have at least according to the description of the mine flayer where they can control the guns of their foes and then we have the line a dark wind blows very similar to the line a sinister bell rings but thats the end of the similarities
This m9's description is a metal gear reference as there was a tranquilizer version in mgs2. I would know as I never found the lethal version during my first playthrough.

Maybe the encircler functioned similarly to the rats cheese attack where he brings in slices of cheese.

The glass cannon I thought was a reference to the gauss cannon (not sure if I spelled that right) from doom but I get it now
you can give yourself a lot of these with mod the gungeon, and you find out a lot about them. for example, the hero's sword was literally just the sword sprite from the first legend of zelda game, and it wasn't a gun, but an active item that spawned a sword for about a second in whatever direction you were facing when it was used. it damages enemies, sure, but it's super obnoxious to use, which is likely why it was cut.
If anyone here played Borderlands 2 i guess you might notice that Unrusty revolver looks pretty much like Maggie, the legendary Jakobs pistol 19:29
I think the hero sword could have possibly been if you were able to steal the map guy's sword because he comments on you attempting to take it.
Plenty of these items are now usable with the console, I would love to see you remake this with the new info

My guess as to why there's a reference to sustenance, as well as to the R.R. being particularly fond of it.
*If* this is the case; since it's mentioned to be a last resort of sustenance, the edibility of the cheese may be questionable-such as being moldy, or possibly sentient.
