On January 7th, The Weeknd released his fifth studio album, Dawn FM, to a lot of controversy and confusion. Casual fans and die-hards alike could not mentally process what Abel was going for with this new album. Moving even further away from his abstract R&B beginnings and into a realm of retro pop, Dawn FM is the biggest head-scratcher of an album since he dropped Kiss Land in 2013.
