Thanks for making this video. The A340 looks quite good, though there seems to be a heavy low bass background sound coming through that distorts the sounds of the aircraft systems... is this low bass sound the A340 or your sound setting? could be my hearing too haha
I think it's the default Asobo A320 sound. It's ok but I would expect more from a payware addon like this.
Which mode are you using for runway taxi lines which include gate numbers?
It's not a mod, just the airport scenery.
Is the VNAV working properly. Like the ToD is calculated. Also does the EFB calculate the T/O n Landing performance?
I just had this single flight with this aircraft so I can't say too much about VNAV. It did work in climb, but not in descent in my case. It also didn't show the TOD, but maybe I did something wrong. The EFB has a calculator for T/O performance, but not for landing.
@@Captain_Carlos ok cool. So thats a manual descent. Does it give you like the landing speeds if you double click the speeds on the FMGS?
I was using open descent instead of managed mode, and selected speed for landing, because speed mode wanted 180kt.
I love this A340 just the steering wheel does not work properly and the trim ,horizontal stabilizer is very weird when I climbing and from the exterior view yo can see that the horizontal stabilizer is all the way dow or nose down,hope they fix because is a great airplane
Yea when I am in flare the pitch control won't work. If they fix this, for me its an excellent airplane

I have the aircraft but the efb doesnt work well.Everytime I try to click it,it doesnt respond.Any possible fix?
Maybe you should restart the sim, I didn't had this issue so far.

@@Captain_Carlos As long as one doesn't get too excited with high AoA or exceed stepped ROC's these are very nice to fly although some people do balk at the ROC of 700fpm from FL240- cruise at FL 390. LOL!!! An A 380 this old bird isn't.

It wasn't online flying, because replays would not be possible on vatsim or ivao. These are real ATC audio files of Chicago ATC.

Great! Just for realism Lufthansa a340-300s only fly to Frankfurt and the 600 flys to Munich!
I know, but there is no A340-600 yet and I love the Munich scenery. And in real life this flight is operated by an A350-900.

No, I don't think that the LVFR A340 is suitable for Vatsim. It's below the FlyByWire level.

I haven't flown the LVFR A340 or the A321 on Vatsim yet, but I doubt it would make it on Vatsim.

If you really love the A340, yes. If not, think about it. I would have expect more from a payware, especially system depth and flight model. IMO you can compare it to Captain Sim addons.

That's true, very difficult on pitch.

@@Captain_Carlos yes, better is A330-900 from Headwind Sim, great work those guys. Airplane behaviour when take off is very smooth, very realistic for me, I love it, even better, it's free!!😃😃when they get work on the real A330 cockpit modelling, it's going to be for me the best A330 on FS2020.

If I had a new airline all I would fly are A340-300 A340-500 and the A346-600. For smaller routes the A220, and A321.
