After 20 years in professional sales, I highly recommend doing a Discovery Call first, where you can "discover" if a client has multiple priorities. I think conducting a proper discovery is the best practice that shows the client that you are listening to all their needs. This is how you line up more than one service. With a second call, you can return with a well-thought-out plan and drastically reduce the chance that they will try you for one service and then leave. If you try to close too soon, they look at you like a used car salesperson before you create the trust. You can have all the confidence to close in the world, but being impatient can kill deals.
I would love to see a video how you do the follow up cicle. In make its not that easy. I have a flow where there are different routes for each outcome of the call and if it's a no show it should trigger another flow with a web hook so that everyday it checks if they rebooked. And If it's a not fit right now it should trigger another flow where it checks if 30 days are over right? And 🤣, after the discover call, if it is a fit, you scope it and then sent an email with a calendar link fr the sales call? Or do you do that differently? Because I would think that I would loose many if I just sent an email for the sales call meeting. Thank you so much for your content!
Nice 😎 Good stuff man!! How did you start your agency? You seem to have a lot of experience in that world, I would love to know your approach. Maybe you could do a video explaining how you came to understand your clients pain points in order to develop a service or services to sell to them.
I was fortunate enough to be recommended your channel about a month ago and I've been binging all of your stuff, absolute great value man! Can you do some more videos on the operations / processes inside of Leftclick and / or what it takes to run and scale a successful automation agency? Do you use ClickUp as your CRM + Project management? Are you willing to drop your current tech / platform stack or any alternatives that you use for Leftclick? Really appreciate the gems you're dropping thank you!
Hey Nick , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
Maybe misunderstood, but how do you get companies to pay if you dont sign and have them sign a contract? Do they send you the money on trust you will do it?
Yep, a lot of the time I just send the business owner a Stripe invoice. I'm not a lawyer so take this with a grain of salt-most will tell you to have a well-defined agreement with scope etc.

I second this. And how do you price your services? what makes the difference between a 2k and a 20k automation setup?

Awesome Nick. Looks pretty much like our sales funnel except for the PPC and Communities. Never really thought about PPC because it feels so expensive
You are legend! I hope I start my agency soon and once I reach 1 2k. I'll come back and re-watch this video!
