- On my way to meet Kevin (Small Plots with Kevin), I drove out close to his town and camped in a mountain ravine, down by a river. I camped solo overnight, rode out a rain storm and carved a bushcraft spoon, after leaving my spoon in the car. In the morning I hike out and head to meet Kevin.

@@CampingwithSamBananas yes I am doing well buddy. I took the weekend off cuz I was supposed to do a 26 Mile kayak camping trip but the East Coast storm cancel that trip. My next door neighbor paul is best friends with my third son John & Paul really really wanted me real bad to adopt him cuz he's having some family problems and the state was going to take him away. He's been calling me and my wife mom and dad for 6 years now & he is a very respectful kids so I adopted paul to my family so the state did not take him away. I really like Paul awesome to be his step dad. School is out all this week so Paul is taking a ride with me for the first time in a tractor 🚛 trailer. Me and Paul picked up a truck 🚛 load of Coke from Atlanta Georgia. And he is having a blast. So I am doing very very good buddy. Thank you so much for asking. I hope you are doing very well yourself. The area between Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, and into western PA offers up some serious opertunities for camping, stealth, wild, or otherwise. Perhaps one day, we will all get together, in some spot. And some day, it might will. Until then, you keep doin what your doin. Despite the setbacks, you look like you were havin fun.

Looks like you're at Stonybrook State Park in Dansville NY. But it looks like you're on a trail, not in the camping area.
Actually I was in Chautauqua Gorge State Forest. This is exactly where I was if you want to see it. I never made it to the falls: www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-york/skinny-dip-falls-trail

Haha dude I was wreck on this one. What I didn't explain was that I was planning to stealth camp at a rest stop. I got two hours away from Rochester and started looking. I couldn't find one with woods in the back. I pulled over and searched Google Maps, still couldn't find one! I had to get on AllTrails and find a state forest close to me and I barely made it there before it was dark. I had to switch up my pack, because at the last minute I changed from stealth camping to regular camping.
That was a miserable night to be under a tent, but a least you had some yummy YUENGLINGS. What was the actual the actual temperature?
Dude for real!! I think it was low 40s at the peak cold. My cutoff is 20F usually to go camping. But maybe this year, I'll push that down to 15 or 10

Haha dude for real, I barely skated by on this. I talk about it in the end of the video with Kevin, but I dropped my keys in the river in the morning on this trip. Walked all the way to the car and had to come back down for them.
