It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Robert! Imagine i invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Robert L Cox.
I recently sold half my tech stock holdings due to all-time highs, leaving me with $400k. Should I invest in ETFs now or wait for a market correction considering potential inflation?
From $37K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.

I have a Question.... How do your clients who live overseas and have purchased a property in Japan pay for their utilities, land taxes and city hall fees/cost when they cannot get a Japanese bank account?
Hi! Welcome to Shizuoka. I am an American living in Shizuoka City, but my husband works is in Izu and stays over there a few days a week in a small rental apartment , so I sometimes consider selling our house and finding a place over there. Maybe we will run into each other some day 😂
That’s a beautiful plot and garden. I’m not sure about the build quality of the house and that’s why you should never buy a house without seeing it with an architect/carpenter. Price wasn’t mentioned but it’s probably “within budget” like the other places so around $100k. It’ll probably cost almost the same to renovate with double glazed windows and insulation, kitchen and bathroom, some kind of heating/cooling system etc… One thing is not much mentioned by Shu is that renovation costs and materials are up 40-50% with rampant inflation since Covid. So the exchange rate plus is largely cancelled out by inflation of renovation costs. Still, chump change if you’ve got a property in Canada to roll over AND you are a builder or carpenter yourself. Hook up to the annual onsen water cost would be useful to know. As would a gardener/landscaper cost. That’ll be a jungle after the rainy season without proper maintenance…but it could end up being a really beautiful pad with a re-sell value in that area. Very popular. Best of luck!
Great for them. It looks like the house needs a lot of elbow grease to make it shine again. It totally needs a new kitchen. Flooring is rough looking but if it's actual wood instead of laminate it should look fantastic after a refinish. Can't tell exactly because of the camerawork but the layout looks... odd. Maybe the onsen was added later. After telling us about the houses he DIDN'T buy you didn't tell us the size of the house OR the actual cost. That's a huge downer. We live for that sort of comparison. Did we watch 20 something minutes of video to be let down at the end?
I liked this video but the price would be important to know. Maybe it was a screaming good deal is why they bought the house unseen? Can't think of any other reason someone would do that.
Shu posted it in one of his shortform videos a few weeks ago, less than 100k USD. I'm not going to get into specifics as there's a lot of details there. Thanks!
Is the new owner a contractor? I think alot of DIYers dont know the extent of the project size sonu wonder if thry will be able to self renovate. That looks like a $200k usd project !
I agree that a lot of buyers underestimate the cost of renovations, and if they are not experienced hiring a contractor would be wise. People who think they are ‘cheaper’ that a site manager although they can barely read blueprints annoy me so much, but I don’t think it will cost them more than $200k USD to renovate that home in Japan
Japan allows the citizens of some countries stay there on a tourist visa for 6 months, if that can happen with Canadians I would buy a house right now in Japan and stay 6 months in Toronto Canada and 6 months in Japan would be perfect for me
That's the case indeed, up to 6 months a year. But only in two 3 month chunks. And we'll have to be careful about overusing it, or we may get flagged... but it's an incredible opportunity if you can pull the capital together to find a place there. If we were still in Toronto (we were until 8 years ago) I would have definitely still done this. Being in Seattle the weather is similar at least in the winters, but it's still a dream come true.
Its so obvious they are foreigners, please research the culture your going to live in....no PDA in the street, yes Japanese houses sometimes built off of the ground, so that air flows under them, who knocks on concrete? I'm sorry I just get flipper vibes from him and he isn't into Japanese architecture. This is what scares me about to many foreigners moving to Japan!
No PDA in the street? We locals show PDA all the time... you should get out more! What's scary is some rando commenting on Ryan when you don't know anything about him, or what he's into but I guarentee he knows a hell of a lot more than you do about Japanese architecture and building. You're not even Japanese but you talk like you're an expert... 🤣

Love your videos as always! So much insight from both yourself and the buyer’s perspective. Watching your uploads always puts a smile on my face, Shu Matsuo-san. 👍 Beautiful location with gorgeous views, and it seems to be a nice and sunny☀️ day too!
I’m curious about their plans for a Visa. Are they just going to come to Japan a few months each year and stay in Seattle? If so, are they planning on hiring a property management company to look after the property? Or are they going to try to get some sort of Visa so they can live in Japan full time. Being Canadian and selling their Toronto home and living in Seattle they must have a visa set up for the U.S., right? I’m not understanding how they’re going to make this work. Thanks for any updates on the visa situation.
Hi, thanks for asking. It'll be just on tourist visas for the forseeable future. But those visas are quite accessible for Canadians and Americans. We don't plan to work in Japan, so it fits our needs.
It definitely is a bit big! haha. There were several houses that we actually put offers on, but they were not accepted, but we think everything turns out for a reason and we love the new place.
amazing property. The house looks to be over 200m^2, Bought a (new) house in Tokyo recently, but love Izu, so may give consideration to a vacation property ...
@ Thanks! Yeah I think during the renovation process (several years) I'm going to outfit it was my workshop, but after that it will become our great room/living room. Really excited about it!
when you buy an akiya do you have to pay the whole cost in full ? or can it be like a mortgage type of thing with monthly payments after a down payment? what's the average expected broker fees (or other fees?) house #4 looked so nice. and house #5 looks like it'll be interest as well. your own fruit trees and endless fruit. yum.
Hello. I'm a stickler for details and just an FYI but at 0:34 the airplane is supposed to fly to the left away from the west coast and arrive in Japan 😅otherwise great video with great information 😁
For anyone going to Ito, “Chinese Bar Shala” is a great restaurant there. Very nice couple runs it. They’re open pretty late, too because it has a bar. Great dumplings, noodles, etc.
Owned by CCP? You know, there's a hotel bought by CCP in Ito, the party owns the beach in front of the hotel no Japanese is allowed to enter as well so that Chinese army can sneak in.
Where in Japan would you buy your vacation home?

Absolutely! Profits are possible, especially now, but complex transactions should be handled by experienced market professionals.
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Robert L Cox.
Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things
Cox demonstrates an excellent understanding of market trends, making well informed decisions that leads to consistent profit
Please keep us updated on the renovations for your home. Hopefully you will still keep the Japanese theme and not westernized it too much.
How much is the house that they closed? You didn’t mention. Thanks

Shu this is by far your best video to date can’t wait to see what Ryan does with the house!
that's pretty sad if true
Glad you liked it!

the one with japan garden was fire
yep, recent build beautiful garden, probably too small for him.
Is the number 4 house still available for sell? How many minutes walk to the nearest train station?
Kitsune my favorite.
Hi Shu what is the price of the last house?❤
I wonder if there are any drawbacks to home in vacation zones?
You can’t rent them out. Depending on where there is also communal fees and you can’t always renovate how you want.
association fee

How much did he bought his home?
thats the question !! I hate it when Shu does not provide the info... whats the point?
Congratulations!! 🎉
Thank you!
I really thought he would go for house #4..
70000 usd. Means about 6 million INR. Very cheap.. But the height of the roof is too low. Here we have 10 feet as the standard for roof height.
Are these cash sales or can you obtain a mortgage?
Cash, very hard for foreigners especially ones not living in Japan to get a loan from a Japanese bank.

Rather buy total crap on a lot of land and rebuild it 98%.

@@ryan_maule How you do get to the nearest train station from your home -taxi?
@@Cordycep1 There's a shuttle service, or you can take a taxi, or you can walk... about 25 minutes, not too bad on flat roads.
