The charging base looks similar to the 8bit do ultimate controller.
Which is a masterpiece of a controller by the way.

I actually have the 8BitDo Ultimate Controller 😊 it's the very first controller that I got and from my wife as a gift. That is the first thing that I noticed. It even has the dongle that you can use to connect the controller to PC

Sadly it is not but it does work with PC and Android

I think you'll need the wired controller if you don't want to frequently charge or change the battery
