Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is a person in history, historians know where his grave is. What is there to be proud of ? That you think the perfect human was an old man that owned slaves, allowed severed wife beating and had sex with a 9 year old ?
The "Dots" and "inclination marks" were introduced to help non-Arab Muslims pronounce the words correctly. Arabs, even nowadays, can read any Arabic text with or without the dots abd inclination marks. I can do that myself. When the Third Calif standardised the Quran he also made sure that any PERSONAL" copies of Chapters that belonged to companions which contained their own "footnotes" were destroyed so not to confuse "personal footnotes" with the Quranic text. Though the written quranic scripture is undoubtedly preserved and some original copies available as in the Birmingham, Sanaa and TopKapi, and another one in Azerbaijan, the best preservation is in the Oral Memorisation. The Quran memorisation follows strict rules and authentication since the time of the prophet (PBUH), and transmitted in an "unbroken chain". Any official memoriser nowadays, would have obtained a certificate of authentication from the Scholar who taught him or her. The certificate has an addendum that documents the names of who transmitted the recitation, going back to the time of the Prophet. So that even the pronunciation is the same. This unbroken chain of oral transmission is unique to the Quran and is the main reason Quran could not be altered. Its also recited from memory over the 30 nights of Ramadan every year in almost every mosque across the world. If the reciter makes a mistake even in a single word, at least one of the congregates behind would correct him. It’s a rare example when a congregate in prayer is allowed to say something to the Imam during prayers. Currently across the world there are over 30 million people, children and adults, who memorise the whole Quran, letter for letter and word for word in the same original accent. And almost all Muslims memorise several chapters (Suras) at least.

I’m a Muslim Arab whose ancestors moved around the Arabian Peninsula through the centuries, and we do pronounce many Quran chapters in different dialects without changing the meaning or the core message. And I personally can read Arabic without dots or diacritical marks.

Sahih Muslim 1452 a 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with, her) reported that it had been revealed in the Holy Qur'an that ten clear sucklings make the marriage unlawful, then it was abrogated (and substituted) by five sucklings and Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) died and it was before that time (found) in the Holy Qur'an (and recited by the Muslims). The "Dots" and "inclination marks" were introduced to help non-Arab Muslims pronounce the words correctly. Arabs, even nowadays, can read any Arabic text with or without the dots abd inclination marks. I can do that myself.
When the Third Calif standardised the Quran he also made sure that any PERSONAL" copies of Chapters that belonged to companions which contained their own "footnotes" were destroyed so not to confuse "personal footnotes" with the Quranic text.
Though the written quranic scripture is undoubtedly preserved and some original copies available as in the Birmingham, Sanaa and TopKapi, and another one in Azerbaijan, the best preservation is in the Oral Memorisation. The Quran memorisation follows strict rules and authentication since the time of the prophet (PBUH), and transmitted in an "unbroken chain".
Any official memoriser nowadays, would have obtained a certificate of authentication from the Scholar who taught him or her. The certificate has an addendum that documents the names of who transmitted the recitation, going back to the time of the Prophet. So that even the pronunciation is the same. This unbroken chain of oral transmission is unique to the Quran and is the main reason Quran could not be altered. Its also recited from memory over the 30 nights of Ramadan every year in almost every mosque across the world. If the reciter makes a mistake even in a single word, at least one of the congregates behind would correct him. It’s a rare example when a congregate in prayer is allowed to say something to the Imam during prayers. Currently across the world there are over 30 million people, children and adults, who memorise the whole Quran, letter for letter and word for word in the same original accent. And almost all Muslims memorise several chapters (Suras) at least.
