Super useful video!! You mention you use a media server when you are on site, does that mean you export the whole resolume file with all content from your MacBook and import it back into the windows computer on site? Would it also be possible for you to connect your MBP to all the projector la and outputs and use that during the performance? Would be cool if you could make a video on the actual connections and hardware used on site! Thanks spreading your knowledge :)
In this case most of the time I worked directly on the media server on site but yes you can just transfer the showfile from macbook to the machine. Good Idea I might to a video like that in the future.
Great work!! I have used similar tricks before to implement 3D animations into projection mapping installations but you've nailed it. Would love to see more breakdowns!!
this was just what I was looking for! Great breakdown. Thank you for this. I will be looking forwar to some cinema 4d tutorials (you know, how basic projection videos can be made) from you!
Wowzzz , truly enjoy watching your long form content/walkthroughs and process ! it incites so much inspiration and questions for me(in the best way).. would also love to see and understand more of the display routing and hardware to multiple projectors , in general haha .. My Arena likes to glitch out on M1 mbp w/ 2 projectors 😬😅… thanks for sharing your knowledge of the craft !! 🙏
Awesome video! Really cool look you got there with those containers haha, very creative! I also loved that BPM or music reactive slices that light up in groups, would you mind explaining how you achieved it? It looks gorgeous! Thank you so much!
Tnx for sharing this important exprience with us, i wanna buy a sensor to make a interactive wall which kind of it do you perefer? According its price and efficiency? I would be thankfull if you help me..🎉
The cheapest sensor you can get is a simple webcam. With blob tracking you can do all the tracking nessesary. Then theres also Kinect V2 which you can get used
When you created the 2d layout of the stage, okay you took a photo but did you actually import it to resolume the image so you could outline it perfectly?
Great breakdown. Detailed workflow breakdowns for 3D projection mapping seem to be quite rare, so please do keep posting! Thanks.

Thank you!! @@Jaschasuess
Thank you very much for showing us such a detailed workflow, very useful!
Glad you like it!
Really well done. A ton of great techniques here. Thanks for sharing. Makes me want to get back into Resolume and VJ'ing again!
This is incredibly insightful as always! Thank you! The end product is amazing
Thanks a lot !
Dude what you do is honestly incredible! I find it so interesting - subbed!
Awesome, thank you!
Awesome, I can learn a lot from this. Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks a lot ! I will definitely do more in the future
Thanks for sharing Jascha! Would you mind if we share this video on our social media platforms?
Not at all, please do !
I can also send you the video if needed

I have exactly that video coming up very soon ☺️

Love it!!
Thank you!
Awesome!!! Thnks for the video it was very useful
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing work! Congrats man! And the video s very explanatory!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you. You are great ❤
Please share some more indepth C4D tutorials. This is inspiring!
Cool project, thanks for the workflow walkthrough!
My pleasure!

Awesome, thank you! May do a video on the hardware setup some day

Yeah thats created using the Chaser Plugin where you can create custom chases and beat sync them
Thank you! This is awesome!
Glad you like it!
WOW! Really interesting to see your thought process. How much time did you have to do all the mapping and create the custom content?
It literally all happened on site with no infos before. So all content was created in the 5 days of programming we had on site and in the hotel haha
Thanks so much for your videos! When u say the projectors were stacked, is this to increase output luminosity/brightness?
Yes exactly although it doesn’t scale linear. So 2 projectors stacked is only 50% more output
How did you even learn this? It’s awesome
Amazing work!!
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for this insightful Video

Hello, from where did you got the actual dimensions and sizes?
from the photo reference
how to slice file add in cinema 4d?
You export them as SVG from Resolume and import it in cinema. May need to convert it to an illustrator file for compatibility.
When you created the 2d layout of the stage, okay you took a photo but did you actually import it to resolume the image so you could outline it perfectly?
Yes i did
Did you use your iphone and did a lidar scan for the 3d model?
Yes exactly, I didn´t end up using the 3D Model though it was just for a rough reference.
thank you so much for the value in this video!
