    I have a Masters in Cybersecurity from Western Governors University and what’s he’s saying is 100%. These employers only really care about skills. Focus on developing the right skills to do the job and you’ll be fine. Work on projects, and build a portfolio.

      I am in school for Cybersecurity. I did not have the knowledge I needed about not having to go to school until fairly recently. I have 2 classes left before I graduate. I plan to finish and have the basic knowledge I need and work on the actual skills in the meantime.

    I came across your TH-cam channel and it really got my attention your explanation of cyber security careers and it’s really on point. I have friends that are recruiters and the number one thing they do to filter cyber security analyst it’s not their degree but certifications like compTiA security + and skills you have to do threat hunting managing tools rather than a cyber security degree.

    Some community colleges have hands on exp with technology and have individual i.t. classes some people dont all want to do train online some do better in a in person class and the classes are around 92. Per credit hour where im at

    Hi Nicolas, I love your content. I just came across your YT channel. I was a network and voice engineer for Cisco Systems back in 2012. I've been in technology for over 2 decades now. I started back in 1996. Acquiring many certifications. (A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA & CCNP etc.) Doing everything from desktop support to network engineering. Have not worked in over 7 years now. I still love technology and very passionate about it. I'm interested in becoming a security cloud engineer. I'm studying for the AWS Solutions Architect Professional Cert. Only because I want some type of cloud cert to confirm my foundational Cybersecurity knowledge. I really want to do this. I'm 61 years old and disabled. (Using a walker) What would your advice be to a person like me? Should I pursue my dream or just throw in the towel.

    • @NicolasMoy
      @NicolasMoy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      It's never too late to pursue your dream! Keep an open mind and look for the right opportunities for you. I've tried to keep this in mind as I've grown in my career and it's been both very pleasant and lucrative!

    I have the same aspirated and goal set in my mind to complete and wanted to ask you with your experience is cloud computing commonly outsourced overseas? I'm considering ultimately ulizing mumy post 9/11 GI bill at WGU to obtain a degree and certifications simultaneously in Cloud computing.. however I'm on the fence about this and might go with cybersecurity instead because I believe cloud computing/engineering similar to programming/software engineer can be easily outsourced
