- Our story in Mythica: Stormbound is set in the broken world that our heroes inherited at the end of the fifth film. Several years have now passed since the selfless heroism of Marek and the Redthorns saved the world. The Necromancer Szorlok was defeated, but the price of victory was high: the gods were slain, the population decimated, the country left in ruins, and, most memorable and heart-rending of all, some of the Redthorns sacrificed their lives in order to triumph over evil. It’s out of those ashes that our new story is born... A growing threat. The heirs to a legacy of evil coming into their own. And most importantly, unlikely heroes, both old and new, fated to rise from the ruins and face them.

it's so much fun to watch a story in a setting without all kinds of action and special effects. just the acting and story telling around a fire.
Beautiful movie! I've been a fan of the Mythica series... And I think I'll go back and watch them all over again.
So fun to be returning to the World of Mythica. Ayrlin's story will be so interesting if we get to see more.
Very good ! First film that has drawn my attention in a while... The young woman is an excellent actress and carried the film. I also liked the Dwarf. The settings and costumes were above average. A well told story. I like the exit theme, the music.
MOST EXCELLENT!!!!! Thank you ever so muchly for the upload & the several other Mythica films on your channel that i'm looking forward to watching. I hadn't even heard of this Mythica series before watching this, so seeing such a masterful production of a great story feels like a surprise gift. I found every aspect, script, soundtrack, staging & costumes, direction & acting well done. It was extremely refreshing to see a film do away with the usual bells & whistles & keep things low-key & slow paced, relying on the dialogue & actors to captivate & engage the audience. No over the top special effects & a total lack of loud, fast action or intensely violent scenes to create drama & capture the attention of the audience. Am looking forward to the other films with more anticipation than i've had for quite some time. I do have a problem though, do i binge watch, or space them out to prolong my enjoyment. I think i'll go figure out the chronological order of the other films & watch the first one, then see how i feel.
Thanks again for providing a supremely satisfying film watching experience.

EDIT: My elation at discovering such a superb brand new (to me) fantasy series has been deflated by learning this is the latest, & while the first 5 were made & released over a 3 year period, it took them 8 years to get this last one done. I really hope it doesn't take anything like that long for the next. The fact that they seem to be relying on Kickstarter campaigns for funding isn't very promising. 😢 Time for everyone to pitch in & be generous to show them we NEED the next installment. LETS GET IT DONE & DUSTED Y'ALL!

What a nice surprise to see Barta Heiner in the cast for this movie! Back in the days when Charles Metten was inspiring our lives with his profoundly great skill as a teacher, I had an opportunity to see _Diantha,_ Barta's one-woman performance on stage at BYU. I can still remember parts of Barta's conversation as Diantha with the audience (as if we were a silent visitor to her home).

I love the new boots of the hanged men. I didn't know they had rubber boots and soles, back then. You would think their boots would be dirty and worn but ..... Somebody missed that one and in the last bar scene, the woman is wearing a most popular hat of the day 😅 The rubber boots are the best, though.
