- TuneECU is powerful software that allows you to perform various functions on your 2016+ Triumph Models that previously could only be done by the dealer or using dealer tool. The latest update released in August 2019, now allows for use on the newer triumph models. Requirements are an Android phone and an OBDLink LX or MX Bluetooth adapter. This video is an introduction to the app and shows basics like resetting the service / wrench icon, bleeding brakes, resetting adaptation and reading and clearing check engine lights. This is compatible for 2016+ Thruxton R, Scrambler 1200, Street Twin, Speed Twin, T100, T120 and other classic twins. Visit our website for all of your Triumph Twin needs.

Thanks for a great video.....I bought a $20 OBD2 reader on ebay here in the UK....described by the seller as ok with tuneECU....which it is....works fine.
Key will be is if it allows you to load the maps, that’s were some of the cheaper models fall short.
@@aandjcycles Was thinking that myself....but to be honest I cant ever see me messing about with maps and mapping.

I have been using DealerTool on my 2016 Triumph Bonneville T120.
Besides the "Reset Adaptation", which (to the best of my knowledge) is not available on the DT, any other useful features that would justify investing in the new app and a new OBDLink BT adapter?

Can I fix Immobilizer issue to my Street twin with TuneECU?
HI can you adjust the idle with this software. My idle goes down when the engine is warm. Can I make it higher with this software?
Jeremy Eden yes you can, as long as the base map is available for your bike. It is performed in the map section.
If I wanted to use the Street Twin scrambler pipe tune for a decatted Street Scrambler, does anyone know if using a Street Twin tune will remove the switchable ABS? Is there a way to toggle that in Tune ECU if thats the case? Might be a little in depth for the scope of a video like this, but Im curious.

What is the cable used to connect the scan tool to the USB port on the bike? Is it included with the tool listed in the link provided previously?
Chris Dugan it plugs directly on the access port on the bike and hooks up to phone via Bluetooth

by opening the ABS brake module to bleed, whilst not actually bleeding the brake system , would this have caused any damage to the ABS system . ?
Michael Schofield brakes are still working fine, so I would say no. You aren’t introducing any air to the system so don’t see how.

Would ask tune ecu. Any bike we have done, if the adapter has the latest software and in run position, it just connects

Keihin....far as I know...all water cooled types.
