Dear Mr Ward, I found that rock on the back of Fastrac when I was stubble raking in the middle of Hollis Lg. Rgds Nephew Ps excellent vid as per. Glad I featured!!
Amazing the different ways other countries produce , harvest and store their products .. Even here in the US it is as varied as the regions farms are .. Lovely farming videos to enjoy from my recliner ;-}
Another great video, excellent content, and as informative as ever. your gaining lots of fans from farmers up in South Yorkshire,... you'll soon be a house hold name Andrew!!
We got that true craft wheel changer too it’s not the best the foot pedal to lower gets caught on the wheel and you need be an octopus to operate. We have the tractor jack also that attaches to lower links highly recommended.
interesting video, on the trial plot land is it not tight? on your 6th consecutive wheat crop what is your yields andrew? we struggle to get 10t ha on first wheats
We went through with the Elita at about 8’’ deep to help this but we are very careful with traffic at harvest and generally any time we go on any field and as a result our soils are in good shape and so we are tending to do less soil movement and more direct drilling now. It was a very average harvest here with some strange results. 1st year wheat after 18 yr grass struggled to do 8 t/ha while the top yield was a 5th wheat at 10.7.🤷♂️ Winter wheats were generally a ton a ha down every where with spring wheat & barley 2 ton down. I’m going to do a harvest update in a few weeks when I’m struggling for content!
So does the sewage sludge not come under the same rules as Manure? I refer to the New rules dreamt up by the EA regarding the non spreading after sept 1st
Enjoying the videos, good content. Nearly caught up now. Keep it up 🚜
Thank you! 😃👍
Engrossing and informative. Thank you from a townie.

Thank you very much nephew, pleased to know you have been listening to me all these years!

Totally agree! So much variability and different techniques/practices here as well. 😄
I used to fit Big-A wheels on my own. I'm 5'4" and skinny. We never had a wheel changer, just concrete floor and crowbars plus a jack
With all the safety warnings now that would be a bit risky I think. Amazing what we used to do but now don’t!

Cheers Mark, I didn’t realise it was so easy to get fans from bandit county!! 🤣

We get on ok with the wheel changer, can’t say I’ve noticed your issues. The linkage jags do look good.
Great Video again 👍
Cheers Paul. 😃
I used to. Work for wrights of twycross delivering bio solids 👍
You’ve probably been to us then.
Then I got transferred over to William gilder when wrights lost the contract Wrights definitely had the job perfect 👍

It does but the EA relaxed the rules for this autumn after the water companies challenged them.
Good video Andrew you sound like you nearly know what your doing
Nearly being the word Pete, I’m waiting for you to come and put me right!
When you see that sludge and then EA decision to stop it being spread, makes you wonder if the government want farming at all in the Uk. 🙄
I don’t think you’re far wrong. The March 1st 2020 headline of the Daily Mail was ‘Leaked email: The Government say the country doesn’t need farmers.”
Yes my thoughts as well
That Puma sounds 👌🏼
I’ve always thought so too. 👍😃
How many acres Is your farm.
1,600
That must save on fertilizer in bags.
We have liquid nitrogen so the sludge and liquid saves us around 300 tons in bags!
Are you wearing makeup 🤣🤣🤣
I notice you do so I thought thats what professional you tubers do!!🙈🤣
