- Hello everyone! Been working on this video for an entire month and i hope that it came out as like what i've expected it to come out as. I've done a lot of work at exporting every sound and just for the material. Hope you'll enjoy watching this! Also unfortunately - no music, i want every sound to be heardable at 100% of its power. Also between every sound there's one second delay

I'm pretty sure that i've missed something, but in case if i did - i'll write in the pinned comment below
Ok so here's some facts about sounds:
1.Gremlin has ability sound despite the fact that they can't fix machines without getting upgrade. Don't really know why do they have it
2.Stone and Obsidian gargolies share one voicebank with slight differences for upgrade variant
3.Collossus has ranged sound despite the fact that without upgrade they can attack only in melee
4.Minotaur and Minotaur Guard share one voicebank with slight differences for upgrade variant
5.Minotaur and Minotaur Taskmaster have ability sound despite the fact that they normally can't do double attack
6.Rider has ability sound despite the fact that they can't do bonus attacks without getting upgrade
7.Shadow Mistress has ranged sound despite the fact that they don't have ability to shoot. However we can see her shooting in the game, it happens only once and in the last cutscene that plays when you capture the final castle in final mission of final campaign
8.Thane has ability sound despite the fact that they can't flame/shoot thunder bolts without being upgraded. In fact - when you give them the ability to shoot thunder bolts - they use Flame Lord's animation with the same VFX
9. Fire and Magma dragons share same voicebank with slight differences for upgrade variant
10.Rune Keeper's death sound is related to his cut ability when they died - they would make an explosion that would damage enemies. Additionally to that - the ability sound also exists, however i have no idea how to trigger it
11.Nearly all Haven units share voicebanks, not gonna remention it
12.Crossbowman accidentally uses melee sound for ranged attacks
13. In Original and Hammers of Fate, Archers and Marksman used to accidentally use ranged sounds for one of their melee attacks. Is fixed in Tribes of the East
14.Priest have cast sound, but because they don't possess any spells - you can't hear it normally. The only exception - one of cutscenes in Tribes of the East
15.Battle Griffin & Vindicator have entirely unique voicebanks, which are not used because special file for them doesn't exist and so - they instead use voicebanks of their first upgrade
16.Horned Demon has ability sound... no idea what could trigger it to play... perhaps the explosion of their upgrade?
17.Devil, Archdevil and Archdemon have moving sounds despite the fact that they're... well, teleporting always. However there are 2 cutscenes where you can see them running
18.Pit Spawn has cast sound. Probably was made just in case for existance.
19.Lich has cast sound, but again similarly to Priest - he doesn't possess any spells and so - is impossible to hear it in game.
20.Bone dragon was supposed to have its death animation separated in 2: Beginning (when it just starts to die) and end (when it falls appart). Only second part is used in game and it seems that it's impossible to trigger the first one
21. Black & Death knights have ability sound, which's probably a leftover from an idea of having them as 6th lvl Necropolis units instead of Wights and Wraiths. Even special animation exists for this purpose
22.A voicebanks exists for Fire Birds, which's probably a leftover from an idea of having Fire Birds and Phoenixes as 7th lvl Sylvan units instead of Green & Emerald dragons
23.Shaman has ability sound despite the fact that they can't normally sacrifice goblins without being upgraded
24.Wyvern and Foul Wyvern have ability sound despite the fact that only Paokai can eat corpses to heal
25.Cyclops have ranged sound despite the fact that they can't throw goblins without being upgraded
26.Pixie has cast sound, but once again - without possessing any spells you can't hear them casting anything
27.Blade dancer & Wind dancer have ability sound despite the fact that only War dancer can perform War dance combo
28.Sounds for Dendroids, aka alpha/beta variant of treants, exist in files... or not... well still no idea where did modders get these sounds
And i know i know that i've missed some other sounds, but if i find some - i'll update the archive to include them!
29. In Original and HoF: Dark Raider has different "attack" "hit" sound and "death" sound make similar to upgrade counterpart.
30. In Original and HoF: Peasant Conscriptor and Enforcer (Brute) have different "happy" voice as "woohaaaaah"
31. In Original and HoF: Footman has the same "hit" voice as Squire
32. In Original and HoF: Priest uses Inquisitor's shoot sfx
33. Same death voice: Mage shout "Aw!" is used in Mage, Archimage, Rune Priest and Rune Patriach. ; In ToE, Dark Raider death voice "Aawghh" is come from Footman/Squire/Vindicator death voice
"12.Crossbowman accidentally uses melee sound for ranged attacks" YES YES i HATE this and have always hated this
You know what I like about this game? There is a horse sound and I can hear in different movies and games til this day that allows the same horse soubd
Yes and the Witcher 3 Reused the Poltergeist sound from hommv 👻

Это круто, что ты перебрал голосовые юнитов. А по поводу невошедших реплик, то это скорее всего записанные на всякий случай реплики. Либо у этих юнитов уже были такие обилки, но ради баланса их решили убрать. Я как раз где-то читал, не помню где именно, что монахи где-то как-то упомянались с тем, что они могут делать заклинания. Если не ошибаюсь, это вообще написано в описании этого юнита

34:34 Archer's "Deuaargh" pain scream inherited from HoMM4 Crossbowman. Sorry, I haven't played Homm3. But I had Homm4 (original) and Homm5 (Original+Hammer of Fate)
For me it was IV and V. VI didnt work too well but I loved the way it looked.

It's an unused sound effect.
Probably someone (or some people) who were responsible for making sounds for new creatures just made sounds for nearly all animations that were attached to the model. Hence why we also have other sounds that are attached to other creatures but are impossible to be played because of they lack such abilities
