Mine wakes me up at 4:30 every single morning by punching me in the face really hard. As soon as he sees I’m awake he settles down on my chest and goes back to sleep 😅
Yes! I've secumbed to my cats insistence! Usually 4:30/5:30 feeding..back to bed then 1 hour later same pawing ..this time to go outside...then 30 minutes later screaming to be let back in..its good exercise for me going up and down stairs. Resulting in a cup of green tea. Mr. China then settles down till about 1pm ..and so do I ! ..I've now adapted the same 'cat shift schedules' these last few years...(good job I don't have to go to work)!! Its 6:56 and theres much screaming Meowing outside..must go and let the cat in!
the cartoon cat is a hoot. also, wonderful advice wonderfully given...thanks! p.s. do not let them see where you hide their favorite toy...or be prepared to be trained to play on demand (and why not?).
I had 5 cats at one time and they ganged up on me, wanting to be let in/out of the bedroom in turn at regular intervals through the night. I ended up fitting a cat flap to the bedroom door. If I pretended to ignore them one in particular would hook a claw inside my nose, that would wake the dead. The ginger tom would make as much noise as possible getting into the bedroom, shout at the top of his voice and once I had woken up he'd curl up and go to sleep!

I often get woken up by one of our cats who simultaneously drools on (nothing wrong with his mouth or teeth) and kneads me with his claws. Our cats mostly wake my dad up specifically because they want to go outside (we try and keep them all in at night). I would like to try the food and treats hidden around the house but we can't because our dog will eat them instead and get ill.
I have the same auto-feeder. They attack it and make so much racket they wake me up at all hours. I would leave a ton of dry food out, but they are not even supposed to be eating dry food at all. One has early kidney disease and trying to help both lose weight. Primie thinks it's ok to wake early every morning to ask for food. Today she was 20 minutes earlier than usual. PLEASE HELP!!!!
My cat a rescued cat indoor cat.i take in out early but he eats grass..wakes me early to take him out been to the vet eating drinking ok should I be worried

Will try the feeding puzzles although they might get a tad impatient but quite smart kitties!!

I'm an early bird so my Toby get's me up at 04.00 he has his food and them he go's back to sleep bless his little fury paws

My cat would make loud noise in the middle of the night and need someone to accompany her eating. Idk if she is scared of something or what
