Yeah, I'm expecting the cracks to grow each tier, then in Midnight it'll be all voidy and slowly open into a portal, and then I dunno for the last one. Maybe the prison.

I literally thought the same thing. Probably not that much effort for them re using visual assets, particles, etc. And as it gets more voidy the table could change or crack more entirely until it breaks into something!! Such cool ideas
I am so fucking happy that the Chinese are getting WoW back.
I like that they increased max Character macros as i have a few that was at max.
Now i just wish they would make a way to export/import macros so you can easily transfer them to alts.
About the new login screen: As i haven't actually used the login screen for years since they introduced automatic login i see it as a short loading screen and have no issues with it being simple. 🙂
Technically, Li-Li Stormstout should be a young adult pandaren by now, going by what we know of the pandaren lifespan- which seems to be roughly the same as humans and orcs. It's 10 years since MoP, and the last time we saw her was in Legion merely two years later, during the monk Class Order Hall campaign. That, plus the three- year timeskip should at least put Li-Li in the same stage as the newbie pandaren characters on the Wandering Isle, though her experience would be much higher at this point.
I'm just waiting for Blizz to re- introduce her as a cute and badass windwalker or mistweaver monk. Both would work.

I rarely ever see the login screen as I use the launcher and it just skips that for the most part. It looks fine for what it is. For all we know they could be using this for War Within, Then next expansion Midnight that seal is broken and more is added to it, Then Final Titan increases it further
They should let you pick and choose login screen and music from current and older expansions. My favourite is Vanilla screen and music, can sit staring at it for hours :)
Ive seen chinese gradually playing on NA servers over the past few months since the announcement.
I've seen far too many. Their text entries are gibberish to most of us. :/
I do wonder why it's taken them THIS long to implement the shaman changes... it's been basically silent ever since they implemented the totemic tree. I do hope it's major, because they REALLY need some major fixes and changes.

MORE MACRO SLOTS?! YES! I was beginning to worry.. I max out char macro slots on every alt, and sometimes have to dip into the global account one. This'll be great for me.
I'm a man of many macros. Not only do I EXCLUSIVELY play outlaw which is just....a bit TOO MANY buttons, but I also make dedicated macros for mounts by theme and pvp toys and tricks and got a few lingering for the many many alts I have but don't really play.
What was that add-on he used for the quest giver at the end there? The zoom in RPG esque one

Until it gets delayed a few times and then the expansion is already out and the shaman changes come in the 0.1 patch, or is rushed and is unplayable until the 0.1 patch.

Ehh I play a demo lock main since they've had demo, so not too worried about the leech/avoidance cuts. I've always been a turret and will continue being a turret, lol. I would like to see fire mages go back to being glass cannons just to hear the whimpers, lol.

There should not be a tax on Honor. If you earn it, you should be able to use it. After all playing a different class would be great if you wasnt always getting rammed.

I hope they do NOT make resource efficiency a gameplay mechanic for healers again. feeling mana starved and weak is what lead to the mass exodus of healers shortly after the launch of cata. sitting down and drinking during a dungeon every few pulls is not fun and engaging gameplay.
top guilds just move to china to claim the prize. ez money.

This is ridiculous 20% tax on stuff I rransfer to my alts. I spend the time, I earn the reward. Why do I have to tax MYSELF just to transfer it to another character of mine? WHY?!! No fking deal I wont do it then Warband can go to hell then!

I wanted the login screen to be of Hallowfall with the crystal, and once in a while, it would turn purple. And then maybe a zeppelin flying by once in a while.

People crying about the log in screen like you spend 95 percent of your time looking at it.
I think it's not the real screen. Something will break through that and be the actual log in screen on launch date.

YES! the increase in macro slots will big. As a healer I used them to create mouseover macros and conditional macros depending on if it'll help, harm, or rez and ally. I would even had 'alt' modifying for CDs off the GCD. Sometimes it was a special button to just heal or effect whoever was in focus. I wasn't big into using healing addons so I did what I could to give my buttons flexibility within the blizz UI. It's a lot of work and paid off.
They need to increase the number of characters per macro to more than 255, to handle multiple conditionals.
This is the kind of thing that gets me super excited! 30 macro slots up from 18 is HUGE (i mean, it's still not enough, BUT considering we've been stuck at 18 macros for 20 years i'd honestly kind of given up hope they would ever change this)! My multi-spec toons will be sooo happy for this!
Same here! I've been sitting at 17 macros since Legion on my Holy Priest, and I've been using them for so long now that I can't see myself getting rid of them in lieu of the clique-style of healing without some major headaches. 30 slots is a gamechanger!
Well, my macro’s consists of mouseover, help/harm and target. Some castsequence macro’s, sometimes Known macro’s for pvp talents combined with any of the before macro’s. And especially for healers I have to use help/harm macro’s combined with mouseover and target. Yeah, it gets a lot in the end.
Possibly that log in screen wall will burst open on launch, revealing something else behind it.
I think the log-in screen is a placeholder, because the real log-in screen will contain a spoiler until the expansion goes live.
Wouldn't it still be a spoiler when the expansion goes live though? It's not like we'll experience the story of the expansion the moment it goes live.

I use all my Macro slots on guild jokes. We have a shaman named loss so I made the loss meme as one. etc. Very excited for more memes
I just started playing again after only ever getting to level 40ish max before on various toons. Now with things on the horizon and MoP Remix im enjoying the game more than ever before. With both normal characters and Remix ones

Why would it be the sword? The crystal in Hallowfall is a much better option.
The login screen would be cool IF it evolved with each tier as the story progresses. Like the center of the wall that is cracking eventually blasts apart and void energy flies through it or some shit.

I love the macro slots, i NEEDED those. Im playing with modifier macros, and use them for focus/party/arena or just other abilities. Was constantly running out of macro space 🙏

Great, more gold farmers and bots. Gutting DPS self sufficiency to make healers happy is like cutting off a leg because you got a paper cut on your pinky.
The state of healing in the game is an absolute crisis.
And that's directly due to the DR and self healing of dps. It needs to be pulled back
No one cares about bots and gold farmers. Im playing this game mostly 19 years and not a single day was a problem for me with their existence. And Im doing literally everything in the game
For macro: I play druid. Every spec the macros are needed so they don't just bleed across to all char instead of specific. Very happy about it. Hope they add more talent builds too, I have to keep deleting builds to make room for more

Id like to see an AI large language model in wow where you have a stone that lets you talk to & ask khadgar some questions.
Where can I find "x"? How do I get "x"? What is the drop rate of "x"? How often does "x" occur? Why can't I "x"? How can I "x"? Etc.
Then have khadgar give some wizardy response. Sure, it may hurt player interactions but as is, all I get 9/10 times is radio silence or an asshole response followed by google searching my question

@@frenchbassguy Ive dabbled with immersion and storyline, but that looked to be some sort of improved simple version mostly related to stock ui. worth a try, imo.
And lets keep this in mind as far as i care Blizzard and the warcraft franchise have done fine without asia and will continue to do fine without asia. Asia needs blizzard but blizzard dont need them. I say the warcraft and world of warcraft franchise should be what it is for everybody else. And its an AMERICAN franchise NOT an asian franchise. Everything related to the dead that is for the living, the person that died have already moved on (if you belive in that stuff). So in short, funeral is for the living NOT the dead. And to use world of warcraft corpse rules, after a person have died they still have ties to that body and can see into the world of the living. But the now ghost stay in something thats called sort of a mirror of the living world but you cant really do anything there sins its just a pit stop for whatever comes after. And as the body decomposes your ties to the living world decompose with the body and then you move on. Whatever im brain dumping. Short version the dead dont care about the living sins they are dead and moving on to whatevers next if you blive in any of that crap. Everything else is just pr marketing and a way to squize you for more money because they can and they know it works.

Considering the one we kept was the sectond-least-common anyway it wasn't much. I really do not understand why we didn't get to keep some version of Wild Spirits...
So our leech gets penalized because Blizz can't scale with an inverse logarithmic curve... that maps. Our survivability takes the hit because healers have a hard time. That isn't the solution and they don't care. Leech should scale differently by situation, but they didn't want to do the right thing so they did the lazy thing. What a crock
Rather dissepointed that we dont get a login screen with the cave zone. Dark cave with plants and stuff. Human city in the background and the big crystal flashings its difrent lights. Abit of a shame but we might still be suprised. I still have hope. If they dont do such athing then they can add a option to batlle net where we can choose login screen. Definatly gonna be pandaria or DF. Also a shame that we dont see a improvement on loading backgrounds. Plenty of the characters from eastern kingdom and kalimdor is gone in some way.. so they should give new art feautiring the races of the zones. Being horde. Alliance. Or just the races who live there naturaly. Like putting the focus back on the races instead of the leaders of the factions
i dont mean to sound entitled, really i dont. but who here ACTUALLY looks at the login screen? I launch the game from the Bnet app, wait 5-6 seconds, and ta-da im at the character select screen.
So questing still wont hit as hard as: "this is not a choke point! Its a MEATGRINDER!" ? oh well... if its clsoe to legion, fair enough.
as a resto shaman main, who is currently 500gs and just over 2k M+, unless im in a +6 or higher, i actually roll as Enhancement because everyone, especially DH and Pally tanks, are out healing me.
Cant please wow players. They fixed M+ and we got a new character select screen (which is sick)- who cares about this log in screen - most of us log in via battle net and spend less than 20secs on this screen. Stop busting blizzards balls of this.
Funny i just watched youtube video of Kevin Jorde about this chase of removing pain points. And how devs ruining games by doing it. Oh and look WoW removing pain points yeah like it ever made game actualy better and more fun oh wait it didnt.
Why do we have healers and tanks in 2024? Every spec should be DPS altering your survivability/dps with talents and gear.
Reducing leech is fine whatever, sucks but I get it especially as a healer. But gutting avoidance is CHEEKS. Because at the highest end in m+ you NEED that shit so great now I need twice as much of it to do the same as it was doing, it just makes it even more valuable. At least as far as I can tell they have not changed scaling with ilvl, which means if you get a drop or vault slot with leech or avoidance as a tertiary it'll still scale with ilvl so it's still going to get pretty high.
Login screen is a little 'meh', but so is the section near the beginning of your video where the editor(s?) ran two takes of the same part of the script...which seems to be happening s lot lately. So, y'know, mistakes on both sides. 🎉
idk...Paladin isn't saved until Holypower goes away. Feels like it'd be a worthwhile debate and conversation to have with Devs to figure out who like Holypower and who hates it.
Only thing I want from the crafting system is the ability to recraft publicly. If you arent on a massive server or at the beginning of a patch, trade chats are dead for trying to find someone who can recraft higher end gear. They could make it require a commission of 5k and I would still be up for that instead of taking a week or two to get someone who responds.

As a healer nearly every single abiloty has a mouseover macro.
And many abilities cast an offensive spell if there is no mouseover and my target is an enemy. Disc for example has a hot and a dot sharing a keybind this way. This keeps my number of buttons to reach for way down.
When it comes to crafting orders for the average peon…
- we expect players to place a crafting order regardless of there being no resources provided.
- there was plenty of resources for literally anyone to make anything
- crafting orders never shows up for all players on that server to fulfill, therefore it won’t get filled
- crafters will provide the resources for a crafting order as an option.
If it doesn’t work this way, we won’t use it

I just looked at a video where they did a compilation of the wow log on screens..here my suggestion..allow the player to choose from option of what they want there login screen to be from one of the past expansions or create a long on screen depicting..the 20 th anniversary of wow.

Pretty bummed out, no news on druid bears. You said in a previous video you'd go over it when changed come out but just been silent on it.
From the brief showing of it I loved the new loading screen I am a big fan of the simpler the better I have not been a big fan of the wow loading screens for years due to how busy they were. But this one seems better if they stick with it sometimes for me at least the simpler the better.
Login screen definitely should of been either an off focus shot of the sword or a view of the crystal in hallowfall that changes from light to void on screen. This is easily the worst login screen of all time.
They should make the login screen reactive to the % of main story you have completed: adding special npcs as you meet them
