I actually believe that Moses was the first one to go to the "Promised land". The whole point was that, the promised land is not the one in here, but the one with God. I believe that this is what God tried to teach us here. The closer we are to God, the more forgiving we have to be with ourselves and remember that we are here to help others reach the promised land. Because even if we fail, God will take us there first. Thank you Kanoe.

Hi Kanoe I was very touched by your transparency about how difficult it is to do this Bible study video. I've been wanting to get back to my celebrate recovery 12-step videos. Not sure if my laziness is getting in the way or perhaps Holy spirit is just slowing me down for good reasons. But when you spoke about crying it was obvious my calling is to take care of my mother who just had a stroke. I'm 55 and she is 86 not easy for me to change her diapers or for her to let her first born, change her and clean her private parts. Pastor Rick Warren read a scripture not too long ago Psalm 71:16. Not sure the translation but it was the only translation that read like this: I walk in the strength of God. It's helped me get through the tough times because I really wanted to put her in a nursing home, since my younger sister don't want to help and it's been overwhelming. I'm glad the Holy spirit is getting you over those difficult obstacles so you can bless people like me with this wonderful Bible study. Jehovah bless your kindness and dedication. May Jesus strengthen you Heavenly Mist 🥰✝️
I just had such a funny moment. Sometimes I know God just sits in heaven and shakes his head and laughs at me. We have all these words to describe God, such as mighty and powerful, etc. When you were discussing how God made the sun standstill, and give the Israelites a longer day to fight their battle, I literally spoke out loud “God, you are so cool“. I wonder how many times God has been told that he is “cool“? Lol! What a mighty God we have! ❤

God does whatever he sees fit and right . We are free in that way to ask humbly for things that is for his glory. Jesus even says you faith the size of a mustard seed, you can the mountain to lift its self up and cast itself to the sea. But it has to align with God's glory. All things are possible with. I have asked for healing for others many times and they have been healed. All in prayer. These things that you read are not fake but should help grow in your faith in God. Even when your fallen into sin, call out to him seeking his refuge in repentance and he will answer. He talked to me even while in sin and had told me to stop and turn from sin so that I may walk in his will for his glory which is what I'm working now. I tell you that none of us can do this alone. We need each other and moat of all our father. God bless you sister

This “hamstringing” of horses literally made me cry. I am struggling with the old Testament and the cruelty, but I know God is sovereign. However, it does make me feel better to have done some reading that infer that in the translations of the Bible’s there are some inaccuracies about the word hamstringing, and that God actually told them to ‘geld’ the horses which means to sterilize. I have to choose to believe that God would not be cruel to these innocent animals. He created them and loves them.
Iam an animal lover I stay away from meat not because I think it’s sinful I do because something’s God doesn’t want us to eat because same animals and marine life have a purpose of why they’re here and what they’re supposed to do to help the world, but I do feel that the way they make me know what they do to his animals. The cruelty is beyond believe I believe that we are to love animals, care for them let them have good lives, and then, if we have to eat them to survive and feed our families that’s one thing but all the steroids they put in animals how they keep them in cages how they ripped their babies from them and don’t even let them spend time with them. They beat them shock them all the stuff that they do just so we can eat meat just so they can make money, I refuse to be part of that and I’m sure God is not happy with any of this. That’s why I love farmers because the way they treat their animals. The way that animals should be treated. They were not just put here for us to eat them, and even if some of them are here for us to eat, it doesn’t mean that we have to treat them so disgusting and disrespectful so cruel there are beautiful creation every single last one of them and it’s not OK so I understand where you are coming from with this, but I also believe that animalswhen they pass, they are with the Lord because they are his creation. I know nothing in the Bible speaks of this, but I want to believe that God created them and love them and when they pass, why wouldn’t they go back to the Lord?

How could God have Joshua kill all these people and innocent children surely he created them all ! Today we have atheists and agnostics but God doesn’t have them all killed by the sword !
too many bloodshed in this chapter. Like Israelite’s destroyed whole cities and killed all survivor. I have a problem to understand this. Why did they need to kill everyone, mean including kids?
