I've found the 20g to not have much recoil, with the weight of the silencer it's quite heavy. To get it really quiet you need to have the lightest load subsonics, which also helps in that regard.

I've been told it's because all the major ammunition manufacturers are focusing on producing for the Ukranian conflict. 410 has always been low volume sales so it falls off the bottom. Very few production runs, coupled with people hoarding with a scarcity mindset.
I haven't went shopping for .410 like ever, all the stuff I have was given to me, I'll try looking out for .410 next time I'm window shopping to see if it's scarce.

Varmint shot has very little mass per pellet, they pose very little threat when raining down from above. A slug is a different matter though

What load is he shooting
It will be one of the lighter loads definitely as it’s only 2 1/2” low brass. Probably 12 or 14 gram no 6 or something like that

Which is it then, normal Criminals have access to high powered firearms or Organised crime groups commit have access to high powered firearms. Either way both "Normal" criminals & organised crime groups have access to weapons. It was only a few weeks ago a "Normal working man" went mad and shot up a local shop and cinema (No people just property) with what appears to be a FAL. Edit: it was a VZ58 I had to Google it.
@@FayeClegg Organized criminals are a minority type of criminal - knives would be therefore a cutting edge weapon for a majority TYPE of criminal (normal dumbass) without special circumstances (well connected, 3D printer hobbyist, etc.). Seeing as how I actually KNOW about British / American crime statistics, you are kind of being pedantic by attacking generalizations that are obviously true in the intended context. Also, please don't use the term "high-powered" like the dopes who don't know anything about guns. That's not a type of firearm, its a buzz word created by politicians. A single shot hunting rifle, or any rifle not chambered in a varmint round is "high-powered". The ballistic strength of the cartridge isn't what makes a gun scary - so, call it a high capacity long gun or rifle.

I wonder how much of a nightmare it is in the UK to get a suppressor for your shotgun, or an integrally suppressed shotgun. They probably have to jump thru dozens of hoops.
