- I carve an angel from walnut wood. This piece was inspired by "Sweet Black Angel" performed by Corey Harris. It is dedicated to all the people of colour who needlessly lost their lives to authorities.

Thanks for your kind words of encouragement, Johnathon.
Man... that's awesome. I'm so glad I don't have to compete with you at my local fair lol.
There is some stiff competition at my local fair and it gets more competitive every year.
@@CammiesGarage it's getting better at our fair. They don't have a ton of specific groups yet. My last coffee table took first in funiture because it was the only woodworking project that was a tiny building diorama lol. But we have a ton of woodturners who will be entering next year if we're not all dead from covid. So I'll hopefully enter that one. They were to supposed to separate into 5 categories this year.
Good luck!
It’s a bit hard to hear you. Great video though.
Thanks for letting me know, Clarence. Hopefully, audio will be better in future videos.
Very well done. Looks great.
Thanks, Tim!
Really beautiful, Cam. You seem to outdo yourself every time I see you. I'm still amazed how you take a chunk of wood and start carving to wind up with something so great. Take care. Bill
Thank you for your continued support, Bill. It is very much appreciated.
Beautiful... I'm normally not that interested in human figure sculptures, but this is stunning. I love how the wings have the lighter stripes.
Thank you.
