People need to understand that Melanie Martinez and Billie Elliesh are two different artist with two different motives and singing styles and because of that we should respect both equally. Melanie shows a tragedy in a sweet pastel form with bittersweet lyrics. Billie shows a tragedy in dark but deep meaning imagery with deep lyrics. And I think it's great that they made similar songs because now it can show people what these two completely different but so similar artists can do with one main idea. And that should be respected.
