I just want everyone to know this: Love whichever song you want. But everyone has their own preferences so *respect* eachother's choices and stop comparing. It ruins the whole purpose of the mashup so be considerate. Also, I prefer "COPYCAT" by Miss Gumi. Mostly because in it she herself is the “copycat”. I just want everyone to know this: Love whichever song you want. But everyone has their own preferences so *respect* eachother's choices and stop comparing. It ruins the whole purpose of the mashup so be considerate. Also, I prefer "COPYCAT" by Miss Gumi. Mostly because in it she herself is the “copycat”. She expresses self hatred and fear when singing about changes (that require her to sacrifice her identity). Perhaps some copycats copy others due to what they've been through? Maybe they grew up in a hateful environment and wish to be like others to feel complete/real. She even admits that she's being pressured by others and becomes someone else entirely, as if it weren't already awful enough. So please, never jump to conclusions when dealing with what we call "copycats". One should hear the story behind their actions first and then act accordingly. Also, in the ending we see Miss Gumi lose her face. Why? Because she succumbed to her misery and regret. In vain, she sings as she fades from reality. The song is a warning for others who might make the same mistake. So please, whoever you are and wherever you are, don't ever bring yourself down and think that being others will make you perfect.
