What was your match ups? How did you choose not to run eclipse? And what was your siding patterns?

@@dalewilliams4573 eclipse usually gave my opponent too many resources since ninja has 1 or 2 removal at best and any interrupt that books let's them draw. Side patter was 1 digger came out if I knew it wasn't getting banished. 1 Green and the book if the book effects aren't good like against Labranth. And the worst hand trap in the match up came out for evenly going second or judge going first.

I've been thinking about getting back into yugioh and this deck seems so sick, I think I'm going to get it. I've been playing goat / edison for a while, and I figured I'd give advanced a try. I know it's super different power level wise but I'm letting go of my yugi-boomer pretensions lol. Can't wait to get my ass kicked as I try to learn the intricacies of playing this deck XD

Hmm interesting decklist, you may want to consider running twilight ninjas for the mirror matchup. Shingetsu makes it so they can't target anything but itself if you have 2 they can't target anything, Getsuga is just a free double special summon from grave, Jogen is a free body and piercing damage, Kagen isn't too helpful but might as well run 1 for pendulum mechanic and stat boost.
For people that can't afford pot of prosperity there is always the og ninjitsu art notebook.

Sadly You just have to play nib for kash board lock. Also it nice since it only tributes face ups so you get to keep some stuff

Only mizen and jioh are affected by it so you just out value the opponent since the flood gate will hurt them more. And Mizen still let's you atk directly under it

@@rogue_to_competitive it's mostly for branded which I believe to be one of the decks hard mach ups. It was also nice against Lab and Sword soul. It definitely replaceable and I only played 2 since I used pot of prosperity to dig 6 for it

@@clainttif you play it with the twilight ninja 🥷 you got full combo lol you can combo off with him you can combo search like all your ninjas. I can summon all 3 of my hanzos with 1 upstart golden ninja. Add all the ninja’s cards I need to set the field up.

I tried believe me, but the deck needs to be consistent, you need to draw your board breakers against boards with 2-3 negates, if your upstar gets negated you are -2 with no advantage and you will probably be losing at that point
