    Well well well... Nice explainations as always... And I'll have to work hard on it, particularly on the last one, maybe hard to do on my didge because there is no more beeswax on it. Fortunately you made a video for making one :)
    Thank u Lies ! !

      Yes if the mouthpiece is too big (or sharp) it is good to have some wax on it

    So happy to have just found this channel. Greetings from Bediagal country in Sydney. Great to see someone so awesomely talented sharing their skills. Thanks. But I can only get the first toot if I stick my bottom lip out! When blowing down I get the second toot every time! Should I keep trying? I've been tooting for two weeks straight but I want to get it seamless before I move on to your other tutorials. Anyway thanks again fo your good vibes and excellent didg playing.

      Hi dear Thomas,
      Thanks for your kind words🙏❤️🙏.
      About your question. I would try the first toot then blowing with your lips on the same line. So blowing the first toot not down or up but right in the middle.
      See if this works for you. Good luck and have fun. ❤️🎶☀️

      Thanks heaps for your reply. I'm trying but it just seems to want to toot 2nd or higher. And with my bottom lip out, and blowing up, I get the most booming resonant fog horn toot (the whole house shakes) that is not matched by the others. I will keep trying however. Also I cannot toot without using the tongue - should I work on not using the tongue? I can transition from toot to drone but not the other way around. Anyway thanks again...gonna watch a few more of your vids today. Cheers.@@DidgeMama

      @@thomasread4329 with blowing the toot upwards, it is not a good movement for the jaw. So that is why I always teach it downwards. And the lips need to get stronger to do it well. Keep exploring and enjoy the other vids!

    Only just got my didge about a week ago. Went for bamboo as advised best for beginners. I cannot grasp the circular breathing one little bit. Got the drone with the single breath, but struggling to get the in through the nose while breathing out 🙏🏻

    The only toot i can get is like 50x louder than my drone. IDK how you do them so quietly. I even watched Dubravko on toots and i can't get it. I'm like 90% sure my mouthpiece is to small for my lips. I need to do a whole adjustment and twist of my fantastic 40$ pvc didge to get some kind of toot but then i can't drone in that position.

      @DidgeMama  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It takes a while to train the lips to be able to keep the right position to make a soft toot. Practice every day until your lips are tired, and your will see after a couple of weeks you can do it much softer! Have fun exploring and good luck! ❤️🎶☀️ and have a great 2024!!! With lots of music, magic, love and light!

    Hello and thank you for your beautiful lessons. I am having such a hard time with the toot. I can pretty much do all the rest that you teach but the toot does not want to come easy. Would you have some more tips on this please ??? Could it be my lips ? I am having such a hard time with it ?!

    • @DidgeMama
      @DidgeMama  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      christos alexiou hi there, are you playing in front of the mouth? If not, the toot is more difficult to do. But if you do play in front, you do have to train your lips and also really use your chin, chin goes down and in a bit. Both lips curl over your teeth and try to push a line of air to your chin.
      Also it could be your didgeridoo. Can you send me a picture to didgemama@gmail.com? So I can see it. Good luck!!!

      hello and thank you for your quick reply. The truth is that since you started the tutorials I have changed a lot the way I play making things more difficult for the time :) but hopefully will help in the near future. I have made my mouthpiece much smaller, down to 3.1 cm, cannot play any smaller yet, and I used to play a little to the left and now I move more and more to the center which makes my lips stop vibrating. I am almost at the center but not there yet so the toot does not come easy. I have sent you a picture of my didges at your gmail to have a look but I am sure that these are not the problem. I need to mold and soften my lips more through playing!
      One last thing. How much do you press the didge to your lips when playing. hard to describe but would you describe it as just enough to seal the mouthpiece or actually pressing in the lips?
      Thank you once more for your time.

      christos alexiou picture received. The plastic one looks like it should be good for toots! And a little to the side is okay. Just make sure both the corners of your mouth are outside the mouthpiece. Good luck and have fun exploring your lips doing a drone and toot!!!❤️🎶☀️

    i write you because i have a doubts, i want know how change the tone of the toot, i dont understan how do, i hope you can guide me, thanks!! :) greetings!!🌸

    • @DidgeMama

      Hi dear Matias,
      It is basically trying to squeeze your lips even tighter so the pushing of air also needs to become bigger. If this still isn’t working or making sense, maybe we can do an online lesson? Good luck and have fun ❤️🎶☀️

    • @matiasperez334
      @matiasperez334 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DidgeMama I understand and that implies that I also have to expel more air from the diaphragm? I'm trying and varying between the lips and the air expelled but I'm not getting to anything concrete, I must continue to polish myself but I think I'm on the right track.
      I would like to have an online class, but at the moment I am not working because I am studying and I don't have enough money.
      Thank you so much for your videos and answers to my questions, they have been very helpful in this process of playing with the didgeridoo, I am totally grateful! have a good week and may the sun shine on you!☀️🌱

      @@matiasperez334 yes it is actually not more air really, but more pushing of air and your lips need to get strong enough to hold this extra pressure! Keep at it, everyday train your lips 😉✅
