Why you running all the 5th wheels over the rear axle, is it to make the truck look longer? Hopefully you can get the scrap cleaned up soon. Separate the aluminum from the scrap metal. What's the big secret, I missed it ?

Please repair the crane so all the outriggers work, Every time i see you working the crane with a short outrigger is an invitation for disaster , Please !Please ! Take the time to be safe I know you know better . And Driving a truck that the steering wheel isnt straight when the truck is going straight is just aggrivating and shows a lack of attention to detail , all i can think about when driving a truck like that is if that detail has been missed what else has been missed and when am i going to find out about it ?

@@jamiegore4192Tim is NOT running “hot tunes” in all his trucks, in fact time has become much more fuel concerned as of late, yes he used to play it up for TH-cam, but trust me, no business owner paying both the fuel and insurance are sending hired drivers out with trucks turned up., it would render Tim either a fool, or a liar, he might run a very conservative tune at best., older trucks turned up with high mileage turned up into even the 600hp area, are asking for their connecting rods, to seek employ as window makers..

Don’t wrap your main load slings around steel like that, your just asking for abrasion, or even have one cut right through, wrap either a chain or a short more disposable strap around the frame, then connect that to your clevis
I like it with the factory bed on !! Just purchased some more Merch this morning !! Instead of the Ford emblem in the Grille get SHTube to make a Gentry and Sons emblem in the same outline as the Ford emblem and install it in place of the Ford emblem !!

Tim I love the videos. I look foward to watching them. I need to give you a suggestion about rigging loads with straps and shackles to the crane. Please screw the pin into the eye of the strap instead of the live end of strap because the pin can un screw and you could drop the load. Thank you and God bless y'all.
Leave regular bed and when installing gooseneck throw in a B&W fifth wheel hitch that drops into gooseneck receiver so ya have the best of both know matter what trailer your pulling.
Flatbed. But with fifth wheel mounts and tow hitch receiver.

Delconca is a ceramic tile manufacturer. I use to deliver propane for their forklifts and other gases there .
Hours of tractor for many years had to quit because of health reasons I love watching your Channel

I see so much of me and my dad in how you and Braxton are. I just pray there's still a trucking industry worth being in when Braxton gets old enough to be a full time business partner. I still have about 20 years left before I'm able to retire and I don't see it being much of a industry within the next 20, hope I'm wrong but it's getting harder to be a fleet owner in this industry.

@jaketayes3164 guarantee he's more knowledgeable and has done more at 8 yrs old than you ever did at that age, you're a pretty sorry pos to make fun of a kids weight. I fought obesity my entire life and it had absolutely nothing to do with how much I ate or or what I ate and I worked my ass off at a young age played 3 sports and was still overweight, 25 yrs later drs Finally tested my thyroid levels and they were the problem. I now 198 lbs.

Tim I think you need to build old yellow 2.0 exactly how you was going to get yourself a new chassis and put a old freightliner cab on it nice big old engine , it's painful seeing you load that wrecked burnt out chassis on that RGN

I always prefer the look of the factory bed unless the truck is doin' something that requires or makes more sense to have a flat/custom/specialty bed. Maaan, that Freightliner is one bad soundin' mo'sheen! Yessir, I wholeheartedly agree, it should be illegal if a truck doesn't run and sound like that. The Peterbilt is soundin' and runnin' just like a fella would want and it looks incredible too. I'll never get over how much Braxton reminds me of my youngest son when he was that age. I think that's a good idea, puttin' a building up on that site. You're fortunate to have a good block of "free" time comin' up and crew who you can count on to help you get 'er done. Keep on keepin' on, folks.
Y’all are some Good old southern folk. I used to see your trucks all the time when used to live in Tennessee Few years back. I’ve always had a fascination for big rigs ever since I was a little guy. My best friend’s father used to take us out on some road trips With his old Cabover. I’m telling you I felt like a king sitting up in that sleeper watching the yellow lines whipping by lol. You Guys keep killing it man. Definitely putting out some great stuff. Man I wish I was still living down there. Who knows maybe we could’ve done a little collaboration together and I could’ve filmed some of your content lol. Hell I have all the equipment we need L O L. A epic photo shoot with the big rigs would be something LIT. #keepontrucking
If you do end up staying there, it'll be a victory for you over from where you started and yeah, be careful in this heat. It's even worse down here in Houston where we've been 100 plus with insane heat indexes that make conducting any business or doing your job a chore and hopefully we've got relief after this weekend though it won't help me this weekend!

I say give the winner an option on what bed they like I personally like a cm skirted flat bed but the original bed has a lot of good use as well

Reg BED way more versatile for a person. We do not all haul for a living and it would be great for camping, hauling mulch for the yard and such

Leave the bed on since it’s a good one , new owner can sell it for a few thousand up here in rusty trucks Connecticut and use that money toward a flat bed if they want. I enjoy Your videos , and Brax is awesome, hows the mowing going ? I am 65 and got back into it this season. 😎👍🇺🇸

Related to a past video, setting the trailer in the boat yard. I was so pleased Tim that you weren't jacking the engine around. In the past I've heard you often do that. These engines are large so every time you increase the acceleration load it just causes unneeded and additional wear on engine components. This holds true also for using the jake for shifting.
Jacking the engine around and jake shifting are just unnecessary.

Gotta upgrade the mirrors to the newer style and add vent shades to the windows! I have several of this body style fords an those are the first, easiest, and best mods. Not to mention cheap

You really need to reach out to harbor freight and get them to send you the big and small sand blaster to try out with what ever media they recommend and everything for spot refurbishing those truck frames all that rust you could save hundreds of thousands just get the correct primers and paints and spot blasting and sanding a little then priming and repainting properly man! heck reach out to Ingersoll rand or someone for shop compressors to advertise while your at it!

That Classic XL sounds freaking amazing. My grandpa had several FLD120s and a 132. Just listening to you drive this truck conjures up the scent of a well-used Freightliner cab.
