Thank you so much for sharing! I am in my 3rd month since i opened my booth at a local antique mall and have hit a dry spell. These are some great ideas that I can implement and perhaps get the sales to start pouring in my way again. 😀
LOVE your channel...I have had an antique booth for just over a year now...Question/Video idea...What ideas do you have for those pesky bottom shelves? Floor space? Under tables?
I keep larger baskets for bottom shelves. As for under tables, I’m not a huge believer in a bunch of stuff on the floor 😬 I think it can make a space feel cluttered and keeps people from moving further into your booth to look closer. But things like crates, suitcases, baskets-those make sense to stick under a table :)
I have one I am going to use velum paper with a silhouette for fall or Christmas. Put a light behind it. Or a string of lights. Snow flakes come to mind.
Have you tried applying transfers to the window panes? I do that in this video here… so many designs to choose from and make cute projects! th-cam.com/video/TYkoSFiwCgg/w-d-xo.html
I just set up my first booth. I'm so proud what's getting the ooh's and ahhh's is the fact i'm just using items that look like fall (apple dishes), have a fall function (lanterns for evenings) or are100% fall colors. I've set aside my rosy pinks and Easter grass green. I'm planning seasonally to clearance or pack the prior season and have the next ready to go. I have boxes of "country garden" stuff - from gardening books to red check cloths, a Goodwill frog collection, fruit jars, lighter color mixing bowls, etc. I can use any items if I have emergency holes in the booth this year but will likely wait til February to roll in the growing season with the Valentines I'll install after Christmas. I bought tons of fall Hobby Lobby florals that I'm returning because I've only needed to use some of them. NOTE: I'm sadly a widow whose house right now looks like a storage building. My husband wouldn't have stood for it but he'd laugh at me now and say "whatever flicks your Bic!" I do need organization. And fire exits! lolol
I loved this video. One of my favorite things to do is to hit up antique shops to become inspired by their displays (and maybe occasionally buy something lol)
Hi! Quick question from one Melanie to another: I have painted some ceramic canisters with Fusion paint. I need to seal the canisters before adding rub-on transfers. What should I use? Thanks so much!
I would a thought wait and seal after the transfers :) Fusion doesn’t require a topcoat to be sealed, and the transfers won’t adhere to any wax. So I would apply the transfer, then a clear wax or poly acrylic :)
Thanks for the tour.
Loved how the Fall items flowed with the booths!
Great ideas Melanie! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing the booths. They provide alot of great ideas

Great video. I have several old beaten up antique/ vintage windows I would love it if you had any ideas for those

That’s so great! Yes, lots of things “feel” like fall, like you said :) Excited for your sales!
The vendors who do well in the shop where I have a booth are those who embrace seasonal decor. You're off to a great start!
This video was well worth watching again! My favorite WOW vignette was at 3:00. Thank you for great inspiration.

FAB*U*LOUS! I've always wanted a booth, but I'm to chicken to try:(
Start small! Find a little spot, try it for 6 months :) That’s what I did!
It was a great video but it moved so fast it was hard to really study each venue
I'm sorry to hear that, I was trying not to have it drag . . . I appreciate the feedback!
You can always pause the video if you want a closer look! :)
