I was 14 in 1975 and Cockney Rebel were my first gig at Southend Kursaal (bit like a cross between the Glasgow Apollo and The Barras) and Sailor were support (same tour?). I was smitten and have always had a soft spot for them cos technically my first live band.
so glad that Sailor were part of my life and i was lucky enough to see them live 3 times . The band members were such nice guys and were good enough to all sign my copy of the bands biography written by James McCarraher. , a great book worth buying . Long live Sailor

Hi, I am a German. I can't say what year it was, BUT I know for certain it was after 1990 because of the broadcaster MDR. The East German state collapsed and was reunited with West Germany, and the previous TV stations were reorganized and renamed. MDR is still existing today, it means middle-german broadcaster.
I am a german fan too. That is correct. The title no. 1 "Secretary" and no. 2 "La Cumbia" were 1990 - the comeback after the separation 1979 - published. Georg Kajanus left the group in 1995.
Sorry for the delay as I only saw this question now. My brother who owned this TH-cam channel isn't alive any more, but he shared some of our Sailor memories on here. This concert of Sailor here was one of the last shows in the original band line-up. It took place in Rochlitz, Germany, on 02nd September 1995.
Me too :) snd don't why! Few years i met one business partner from Hollanf and told him how I love Saiolor and listening them from '76. He looked at me in strange way, I didn't understand why. Few months after I realized how stupid I was for 40 years. I own all their studio LPs except first one and now all CDs. One of mine favorites bsnds. They are my "OLD NICKELODEON SOUND"!

Just stumbled on this. Same deal/tour here except Hammersmith Odeon. Cockney Rebel were great, but Sailor were a blast!
