The funny thing is that the fight not happening affects Fury more than Usyk, because failed to gain 70% of the purse. So the fact that Fury, after obtaining 70% of the purse, did not agree with Usyk's modest demands about the rematch clause, speaks volumes about Fury never wanting the fight. Fury didn't care about the money, he was scared of losing his undefeated status to the smaller Usyk. Fury knows that his whole career and legacy are hanging by a thread, his undefeated status, and the minute he takes a loss all that crumbles like a deck of cards and he goes straight into oblivion. Frank Warren couldn't do anything in that situation, he tried hard because he lost the most from the fight not happening, he ended up losing all the time and money already spent throughout the negotiation period. Usyk's promoter also wasted his time and lost a little bit of money on airplane tickets and lawyer fees, but Frank was supposed to make a quite a bit by promoting the actual fight, and he must be hurting a lot more from the fight being canceled.

The funny thing is that the fight not happening affects Fury more than Usyk, because failed to gain 70% of the purse. So the fact that Fury, after obtaining 70% of the purse, did not agree with Usyk's modest demands about the rematch clause, speaks volumes about Fury never wanting the fight. Fury didn't care about the money, he was scared of losing his undefeated status to the smaller Usyk. Fury knows that his whole career and legacy are hanging by a thread, his undefeated status, and the minute he takes a loss all that crumbles like a deck of cards and he goes straight into oblivion. Frank Warren couldn't do anything in that situation, he tried hard because he lost the most from the fight not happening, he ended up losing all the time and money already spent throughout the negotiation period. Usyk's promoter also wasted his time and lost a little bit of money on airplane tickets and lawyer fees, but Frank was supposed to make a quite a bit by promoting the actual fight, and he must be hurting a lot more from the fight being canceled.
